I've been in Android land for awhile, but I am coming back to Apple. Recently I've owned the Note 3, Moto X, and LG G3. I love the screen to device ratio of the LG G3 - really nice. I just don't like Android all that much personally.

I ordered the 6 Plus because after owning a large screen phone the 4.7" screen on the Moto X always was a bit meh. I really wish the 6 Plus wasn't bigger than the Note 3 as I always felt that phone was at the edge of my dimensions limits. I used that phone naked.

I think if Apple Pay was large scale the 6 Plus would be a no brainer because I would just need that phone, a drivers license, and debit card. As it stands, I need to find the slimmest solution that will allow me to store 3 cards (license, debit, credit). Seems like there isn't much beyond a case, and even the slim cases I'm afraid will make the device massive. So now a device at the edge of my limits is larger due to a case.

So we'll see. I really hope it works because 4.7" doesn't excite me...granted it's more of a "true" 4.7" screen than the Moto X is but still...

But when you sell a new phone, it's usually still saran wrapped in the box, but I agree...you can do quite a bit, but I have no faith in Paypal a) giving a **** or b) actually siding with the seller unless the buyer has done this before.

I get it, I want sellers to get ripped off as much as I do consumers (which is not at all)...but selling high dollar goods on eBay now that their policy is so tilted towards buyer safety is a gamble I simply wouldn't be willing to take.

On a pre-order you can't send it without opening it because it will be registered to the owner of the sim so it MUST be opened, activated and wiped again before selling. To each his own but I've never had an issue on ebay, almost 2k transactions and at least 100 of them have been $500 to $2000 between iPhones and paintball gear.

The best way of proving reciept I've heard is to iCloud lock the phone. Don't tell the buyer. They will get the phone, contact you right away about it being locked, and voila, you have proof of reciept.
Then, provided they are ok buyers, you can unlock the phone after they give you positive feedback. Or before if you aren't comfortable with that extortion (I would be, but I don't sell on eBay any longer).
It's almost safe, especially coupled with a video, but even then I wouldn't put it past PayPal. They just don't care about sellers. It's the truth.

I had read something about locking it down and then giving the buyer the pw so they can use it.... smart idea. I just moved to the family data share program so will probably not sell any more iPhones but simply hand them down..... But when the 4 came out oh boy.... Paid for my iPhone, all shipping, fees, and the other two iPhones I sold and STILL walked away with $300 or so bux in my pocket.... People are stupid over the iPhone lol.

Loose buttons, scratches, one gig of RAM, or an operational fault. Any of those.

If you're actually going to return it over 1GB of RAM then get ready...

I really hope there is not going to be any heat/overheating issues.

6 Plus will have heat issues. It gets uncomfortably hot in the upper left quadrant of the rear casing when holding it like normal. With brightness on full, wifi enabled, if you play around with it for awhile it will get hot. I predict the heat issue will be a big topic of discussion on this forum.

I am reading that the new A8 is probably a 6 core... It's going to get hot when it's pushed.

Yup it's a 6 core GPU and it gets hot when you put the device under heavy use for sure.
