I plan on going for the smaller iPhone 7. Had the 6 Plus and 6s Plus the last 2 years and I'm just not feeling the big size anymore. Sure the bigger battery, OIS, and 1080p screen are nice, but I like to be able to one hand use my phone comfortably.

I'd like to get a black one this time around. I've never kept a phone longer than 11 month. Normally something new around 6-10 months.
I just wish that the bezels will be smaller. I don't mind a thicker phone if it can be shorter and more narrow!

My reason.

1. Returned Note 7 back to carrier
2. Battery life
3. OS and apps stability
4. 128Gb for hopefully the same price as 64GB
5. A reason to finally get the apple watch.

Because I can/want to.
Really this.

Dad also needs a replacement to his iPhone 5 so I'm getting the 7 and giving him my 6. I figure that's as good an excuse as any if anyone asks. It's somewhat hard for me to tell others to mind their own business. :p

Same here I am also upgrading from a iPhone 6 Plus 128 GB and the one issue I had with the phone was it always ran out of ram all the time. The phone would randomly reboot quite often. The upgrade in Ram alone is enough for me to to upgrade to the 7 plus and a improved camera is also welcome.
I am wondering if your iphone 7 performed up to your expectations. mine did not and i am stuck with it...I have purchased an iphone 7 5 weeks ago and have never been able to have good quality calls. No matter who I speak to or where I am the receivers cannot hear me. It fades in and out and is garbled. I have left voicemails for folks who say they cannot understand me and other calls where people politely say they cannot hear me. It's embarrassing, humiliating and unacceptable for a brand new apple iphone that cost $700. I have worked with apple support for hours, got a new phone-no improvement. Went to Verizon several times and they say it is a software problem. Gave me a new sim card. It worked for one call and then back to garbled. Please please if anyone can help me. I want a phone I can be heard on. It is more than 14 days so I cannot get my money back or any resolution. I did all the suggested troubleshooting. I believe there is a bad batch of iphone 7s out there.

Well, I have had my 7+ since Day 1 and I did have a issue at first where it won't connect to the Verizon network but they replaced it right away. So since then I have had one software issue and I ended up wiping the phone and setting up as new and using Zero backups and setting it back up downloading one by one each app I used and I also erased all of my apps from iTunes since I had a lot of old apps that were not even updated in a while and re-downloaded all of them fresh and synced all of my music. Since then I have had No issues, No crashing No nothing other then maybe once in a while one app may crash but its rare.
