I was shoked to learn that if you use wrong cable that manufacturer doesn’t support, it heats. Or if you bend your phone with brutal force it bends. Or if you scratch it with a knife it scratches. Or if you drop it from top of a building it shatters. I will never buy phones again. Can’t imagine you keeping your iPhone after all these eyeopening news from YouTubers.
So true! 🤪
Years ago I bought a brand new car. With less than 400 miles on it I got flat tire. What a piece of crap car that was! 😂

No one needs testimonials about your iPhone 15 *working* *correctly*. That is what it is supposed to do.

We also don't need your snark about the fact that some aren't—Apple confirmed today that was the case. Some people are having a much more terrible experience than you are.

A little empathy goes a long way. It's an admitted issue, and Apple says they will fix it.

That’s nice.

Just today my partner had to physically restrain me from putting my 15PM in a blender. I was sobbing and kicking. I even wet myself. Such a close call. If the 16 doesn’t actively repel blenders I am never giving Apple another penny. Absolutely disgraceful.

But really, no issues here either. It’s perfect. It gets hot during extended video recording but so did my 14PM, no difference. I’ve been completely satisfied with every iPhone I’ve owned since 2007 and that’s why I am a dedicated user.
Which quality of video are you using and how long?

Amen.

…it has no issues whatsoever.

Hardware: I ordered the natural Ti model and the band colour is uniform with no defects and no sharp edges where it meets the screen or back.

Heat: There hasn’t been any so far. I restored from iCloud during setup comprising of hundreds of apps, photos, etc, and it didn’t even get mildly warm.

Charging for around 30 minutes via an Apple 20w charger resulted in some very mild warmth. Well in line with what you’d expect from a charging phone.

Wireless CarPlay for two 20 minute journeys resulted in no heat, not even mild warmth.

That’s my experience after half a day. Why am I posting this? Because after reading these forums I nearly cancelled my order. If you feel the same then try and put it in perspective, the majority of phones are perfectly fine. If your phone is getting hot or it has visual defects, get it replaced.

As far as my experience goes, it’s been perfect so far 👍
Always good to hear positive experiences of using iPhone 15 pro max. Congratulations and enjoy your new phone! 😊

This is a pretty funny thread!

My 15 Pro is fine from a build standpoint. I’m still struggling with getting Standby to work well, which may be an IOS issue rather than a phone issue. The wobble that results from the large camera bulge (cannot lay it flat on a countertop and touch the screen without the device rattling and moving) is also pretty irritating. So far these are fairly minor issues.

Empathy? Lol it's a piece of electronic hardware. It's brand new. If yours doesn't work just get it replaced. By the way, mines still working beautifully ;)

I'm also part of the "No Issues Club." It's been a wonderful experience. The iPhone body is smooth with no edges, there's no light bleed with the screen, there's no overheating issues, there's no weird iOS bugs. Everything is just pleasant, fast, and a joy to use. I can't even make my phone get hot on purpose. Had I been in your situation instead of pre-ordering it for day 1 release, I would have possibly canceled my order as well. But this issue doesn't affect everyone as I've come to realize.
