I must be looking at it wrong but i swear it says Origin: Narita International (Japan), Destination: Anchorage.
I love it when Fedex skips a scan, the "Departure" scan. It was like, pickup, arrive at at AK. Now at ANCHORAGE with the rest of you. I love the suspense. Now I wait, San Francisco or Memphis next.
Can I just say how much I love that with the magic of time zones, our iPads are going BACK IN TIME in order to reach us.
Did anyone order the red smart cover and get the shipping notification yet?
Mine should be shipped within 1-2 days but the status is still "not yet shipped."

I did get shipment notification for my Red Leather. It actually shipped Friday and FedEx tried to deliver Saturday, but didn't actually come to my door, just left an exception tag at my front gate (grrr
). Apparently they'll redeliver Tuesday.So it does.
According to flightaware there are no FedEx departures from Anchorage to Memphis in the next 2 days, scrap that, no where in the US
Tracking flights isn't easy, and i don't think these sites are particularly accurate.
I'm not sure if it is the case for everyone, but I did have the option to reroute my shipment--perhaps if it ooks like it won't get there before Wednesday you could have it rerouted to your travel destination?
Please post the link for the flight from Anchorage to Memphis i can't find it for the life of me.

Possible, but probably unlikely.
I'm guessing it will make it's way to the Memphis hub tonight or tomorrow morning.
Then it will get to our local centers by Wednesday, but miss the morning trucks and thus not go out for delivery until Thursday morning as scheduled.

Interesting, in the past if an item was in Alaska by now it could be delivered to East Coast tomorrow. You may be on to something.
Am I the only person whose Smart Cover shipped from China and not the United States? Fed-Ex is telling me my case has reached a shipment exemption in Shenzhen, China.
I thought most people saw theirs ship from Pennsylvania...

That had been the case with mine, but about an hour ago I got two updates: one saying it had arrived at the next sorting facility (it had been in Memphis, now Orlando) on Saturday night, but was scanned this afternoon. The movement on Saturday, in other words, didn't show up until just now.
I also am expected to get it tomorrow; seems highly likely. Good luck.
EDIT: Cover shipped from Memphis, heading for South Florida.
Fortunately it is far more likely that either: a) I'm useless or b) The flight track websites are incorrect.
FedEx being as big as it is, with urgent mail to deliver, makes it seem highly unlikely there are no departures from Anchorage to anywhere in the US within 2 days

I know it shows a history of it going to Memphis every few days, but no where on scheduled flights does it appear that it is indeed going to memphis. I assume it will be, though. And hopefully today too.
