What were you quoted when you ordered from Apple

Apple said My Delivery would be March 22-March 29... But it is already prepared to ship.

Is that the flight from Alaska or the direct flight from HK? I think mine is on one of the direct flights from HK to Memphis, will hopefully get to my local Columbia, SC hub tuesday night or wednesday morning on a truck

What I don't understand is why the heck they would prepare it to be shipped, yet not ship it!

I'm really thinking there must be a supply crunch on 64GB parts or something. There are a lot of people shipping... Well, admittedly, I don't think I've seen anyone that ordered after 1:30 PST say that they're being shipped, but I'm certainly seeing a massive bias toward the smaller models, but it seems like there were plenty of 64GB models ordered... So either there's a parts crunch, or possibly, a boat load of other people not on this forum that ordered the 64GBas soon as the store opened?

I just wish I had a tracking number... I can handle it once I have a fairly set date that I'm waiting for... This vague, mystical, magical Delivers by date that we have hanging out there right now is just a bit nuts... It's like a mirage to a thirsty man. You keep seeing hope and ending up with sand.

As for me... Not yet Shipped... *Sigh* Back to the sandbox.

Ok, I've had my philosophical moment for the day... next?

If anyone else is stuck in SENNAN-SHI (Osaka, Japan) our flight has been canceled and we're waiting for the next flight that operates out of there. Not sure when that is, or where it's going. Due to the disaster, we might not get ours on time. Why in the world would they ship it to Japan?!?!?

Just got this update on Yahoo site:

So it must not have left on the last two flights???

According to Yahoo, mine arrived at the Sort Facility in Anchorage much earlier today two minutes after the flight from Hong Kong landed. I haven't received an update since then. FedEx's website has just said "International Shipment Release" for the last five hours. I NEED AN UPDATE!!!

I feel your pain...waiting and waiting..refresh...refresh..the worst is I have a co-worker that stood in line at apple on Friday..I talked to him this morning..I was excited for him..asked if he was on it all weekend playing around on it...he said, no...not really..ughhhh

Have you called Apple, they might be able to give you a better time frame since your prepared for shipment early...
