And this is the new Zagg Glass Luxe!

I know it's not the alignment since all cutouts are lined up perfectly. Earpiece and home button cutouts line up.

I've never seen this before. My old 6 had no problem.

that Luxe looks nice, especially if it has that matte-like finish on it. And that on the gold looks NICE!!!

Having had two crappy experiences with Daswise (the second install looked worse than the first!), I was looking at IceMax, but this has my attention now.

BL.

Oh yes. The Luxe does indeed have a matte like polycarbonate frame on it. Too bad it doesn't stick correctly onto my screen. It comes in four different colors. I have a replacement coming in from Zagg next week. It's for the 6S. If you have a 6 also just PM me and i can sell it to ya for way less than what Zagg charges. Maybe you would have better luck than me.

Let us know how that install works for you please!!!

Apples and oranges as stated above. Digital is digital when it comes to HDMI cables. Screen protectors -- especially tempered glass -- are not all identical.

Actually I have ordered the DAWISE and several generic ones. One of them might have been a Tech21 or Jet or something I don't remember now. They are in fact the same protector. I can tell because A) they all have the same issue with left/right sides showing lines of air and B) they all came with the same box contents.

What I mean is, they all had their own packaging. But inside they had the exact same dry/wet wipes and stickers for alignment. EXACT ONES. Meaning, they're all probably from the same factory in China.

Maybe there are some higher end ones out there, I don't know. Perhaps it would be cool to catalog the brands that actually make their own versus simply packaging the same supplier in China. I think Zagg would be on that list and I am not sure who else.... I bet it will not be a long list.

I had an extensive discussion with Anker's customer support because they actually specifically waited and only just came out with a 6S-specific screen protector, but when I ordered it, I still had the bubbles/lifting on the left and right sides.

Anker says that there are slightly differences in the angles of the screen surface depending on the original supplier of a particular iPhone's screen. That's why some people are having problems with their 6S/6S Plus and some aren't!

Wouldn't they be able to make a couple of variations then for each tolerance? Then they could check what they sent you and then send you a different variation when you exchange it versus some people going through 5 or more screen protectors with the same result.

I guess it probably depends on what proportion of phones have one angle vs the other. If 90% of phones have the non-halo-ing screen surface, then it's probably more cost efficient for them to just make and sell a protector for that screen only.

True. But given that the 5 iPhones in the 6S/6S+ categories I have personally installed a screen protector on ALL had the halo/air bubbles on edges AND how rare it is to find someone who claims theirs worked perfectly, I would say its probably the other way around.
