Well you say you want something that can be used at home. Both of these are superior products from my own experience. People have recommended the MX revolution here, its the same one, but bluetooth. No need for a USB receiver for the wireless connection.

I would first decide if you want it to be wired or wireless, then go from there. For me in school, I would want something I can grab and go, not having to unplug items.

Thanks again for the reply :)
For the Keyboard I definitely want something I can just leave it on the desk and use it. I think I would love to have it wireless as you mentioned. The mouse is the tricky part for me. I do have fairly small hands and people mentioned VX nano is for people with small hands. I really love how MX revolution series offer amazing options and variety of programs you can combine. I am not sure when or in what situation I will need the mouse when I am away from the res or home during the school hours. Like as many college students study at the library... Will I be needing something advance to do school work?? That was the main part that bugged me the most. I am not saying that only "Pros" or power users will need MX revolution series but since I have recently switched to Mac I have not found hunger for multi task/functioning mouse.

Thanks again for your reply ;)

p.s. for the Keyboard I might even get Logitech one as you mentioned over Apple Wireless... But once again... I am not sure what to do with the VX nano that I bought couple days ago still sealed and staring at me for some love:rolleyes:

You fail to mention the Das Keyboard (uses Cherry keyswitches, optional über cool blank keys for touch-typing training and elitists), the current iteration of the Model M, and even this little gem from ABS.

Though, they all take up space, are kind of expensive, and don't look particularly good sitting next to anything (recent) by Apple. But I'd definitely use one of them for my future (PC) gaming rig. They last forever. And ever. And ever... (and the Model M can function as a handy bludgeoning weapon for self defense, all 15 lbs of it—it ways more than your notebook!)

I don't have the Das, although I do have a Cherry G80-3000 with the same switches. I also have the ABS, a Customizer and a Dell AT101W...and I'm still looking for more :)

...the vx nano is too small to use with comfort, return it...

I have a V450 micro receiver that I use (it was $25 USD) and a V470 BT mouse... both are small but can be used with comfort and have good response plus both together were less than the cost of the vx nano at the time of purchase and work with my iMac and PC's in the house...

I do also have an :apple: BT keyboard but haven't figured out how to get it to work with my PC laptops yet...
