I was wondering if any of you know this tablet stand:

https://www.amazon.com/Tablet-Stand...01DBV1OKY/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

https://aliexpress.com/store/produc...-7-10-5-for-Air-mini/1854881_32826553539.html

Apparently these are the same, yet Amazon is asking for double the price... any idea why? I was going to buy from Aliexpress but I thought to myself it's better to ask here if it's the same product. I have an iPAD Pro 10.5 using the Khomo rear case and Apple's Smart Cover.

Also the IPP 9.7 with Smart Cover/silicone case, in the future I'll sell the latter and buy a Galaxy Tab A 2016 (10.1).

So, if I wanted a stand for any of these devices, would this one from Lamicall be the best choice?

In this comparison the article lists the same thing twice in 10. and 3... why?

https://www.vbestreviews.com/adjustable-tablet-stands-reviews/

In 10. it says "Lamicall stand’s light weight enhances portability.". And in 3:

"It is quite heavy to carry around."

What am I missing?

P.S. This is the only stand I have at this moment:

There's also TStand:

I just received the tablet stands from Lamicall. The one for tablets is great:

The other where the iPhone can be seen does not bend, so the angle is fixed. I find this stand to be sturdy and very well built, and in the images I am using the IPP 10.5 and Kindle Paperwhite, and for TStand the IPP 9.7.

Has anyone tested this tablet stand?

https://www.amazon.com/Portable-Hol...rd_wg=tAtf5&psc=1&refRID=WR1JMQGJXDWMK16H3KYC

It appears to be better than Tstand, I sold my 2nd iPAD (Pro 9.7 from 2016 - the #1st I am using is the Pro 10.5 from 2017), and since that I can't use the TStand anymore, since I had to isolate the #2 iPAD in landscape mode. Removing it from the stand would wear the latter over time, so I just let there until now.

It appears this one from Raphycool is even better for the use I intended, which is in the bed, with the proper height. The questions that I have are: how high? How does it grip the iPAD? Does it wobble? Can I keep removing the iPAD from it easily or I'll have the same issues with Tstand?

The Tstand is a great product (edit: it's being sold again):

I received a kitchen scale today and was able to find out a few interesting things.

For example: the Apple Pencil has 20 grams (0.04 lb) while its box 80g (0.17 lb)

The iPAD Pro 10.5 (Wifi + Cel, 256 GB) with the Smart Cover from Apple + Khomo back case measures 678 g (1.49 lb). It is said the weight from this iPAD alone is 477 g / 1.03 lb.

The stands I mentioned before:

- TStand = 518 g (1.14 lb). Heavier than I thought. I stopped using after I sold my 2nd iPAD Pro (the 9.7/2016 version). Since I had to keep the iPAD there (and also remove the Smart Cover) and removing/inserting again would be a hassle (not to mention wear the stand over time) I am currently not using with any device.

- Lamicall (for tablets): 280 g (0.61 lb). It's small and easy to adjust. Very well made. But it's not meant to be used while I am in the bed, with a pillow under the iPAD. The Tstand is perfect to watch movies in bed, the Lamicall one is more suitable if we want to put it in a desk. If we try using in bed the tablet will fall.

Oh, and I used the Lamicall to record myself in 4K, instead of using the front cam from the iPAD (lower res).

- The triangle stand: I believe this one I have was custom made. It weighs 304 g (0.67 lb) and it's also very good for the iPAD (if the idea is to watch with a pilow underneath, however the Khomo case sometimes makes the iPAD move to the side. It's due to the pillow I use).

And we have this "spider" stand from nBryte:

I received a new tablet stand this month:

Pictures:

Product page:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073V8C91F/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Also very good. Weight: 344g or 0.75 lb

Perhaps even better than Lamicall, in terms of positioning the device properly. It spins a bit when we touch the screen, but if I hold the side of the device with one hand I can perform specific tasks. It's not as sturdy as Lamicall's, yet it's easier to handle.

Recommended.

Another review from a different tablet stand:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0181JEARA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Bought this one from Amazon, which says "Tablet Sofa", from Sonic IQ (or "Ideas In Life" as Amazon describes):

https://drive.google.com/open?id=1p_tIdaI0eUJg1QYSXWPmSAuRxE0c0NS-

Two pictures with the iPAD 4 and this product:
https://imgur.com/a/xrZNwQ9

This stand weighs only 82 g / 2.89 oz.

I can't take a picture, but right now I have my iPAD Pro 10.5 in it (+ the Apple Smart Cover), and I can cleary see the dock. Basically this is how it looks like:

V0572cl.jpg

The problem with this product is that it's worthless if you are looking from this angle:

M17stWB.png

In your bed... if we do that then it will cover the entire dock.

Also it's easy to become dirty.

I recommend using a custom made triangle stand, or something similar. If the goal is watching from bed and at this angle, of course.

Mine measures:

22 cm = width
18 cm = height
21 cm = depth
2 cm = the front where the iPAD rests

I saw another one bigger, and it was a lot more heavier. This triangle stand continues to be my best option.

Surprisingly this book stand is also a good choice. I bought the largest to hold every possible size, later I plan to buy the smallest one which will waste less space in my desk.
