Amazon today has a collection of iPad deals, including all-time low prices on the brand new M4 iPad Pro and the 10th generation iPad.

M4 11-Inch iPad Pro

Starting with the M4 iPad Pro, Amazon is back with a solid $49 markdown on one model of the 11-inch iPad Pro. You can get the 256GB Wi-Fi 11-inch iPad Pro for $949.99, down from $999.00.

This is a match of the record low price for this brand new iPad Pro, and as such it's been fairly popular and has resulted in some shipping delays. As of writing, you can still lock in this deal today and get the iPad Pro delivered by late May.

10th Gen iPad

Moving to the 10th generation iPad from 2022, Amazon has a few of these tablets at record low prices this week. Prices start at $329.00 for the 64GB Wi-Fi iPad, which is down from the new regular price of $349.00.

Apple cut the prices of this lineup earlier in the month, and each model is now $100 cheaper. You can also get the 256GB Wi-Fi iPad on sale for $474.00, down from $499.00, another all-time low price.

Likewise, both cellular models are available for new record low prices on Amazon. The 64GB cellular iPad is on sale for $474.00, down from $499.00, and the 256GB cellular iPad is on sale for $609.00, down from $649.00.

I'll probably bite when it's $849. I'm on the 1st gen 11" but my iPad needs are pretty modest.

Typing from my 1TB 12.9” M1 iPad with 16GB RAM. I did not even feel interested in the new one. They really need to overhaul the iPadOS and make me feel my M1 does not work for a fancy iPadOS to make me buy one. It is a lot of friction as I will also have to re-buy my magic keyboard

Am I the only one that didn't realize the iPad Pro wallpaper says "PRO"? So used to them simply having zany lines and shapes on their wallpaper that it didn't even occur to me.

The only real difference an average user notices between the 11" M1 iPad Pro and the 11" M4 iPad Pro is the display… and some don't even notice that.
Agree. In this economy, there isn’t enough of a difference to spend $899 (apple Education store) plus the new keyboard when you have one in place already. I use my iPad everyday in place of a laptop. I have a desktop that I use for work 10% of the time and I have a Mac mini M2 Pro/Studio display to do fun stuff at home. I’ll keep my M1 iPad Pro 11 for another year or 2.

I agree with you. I’m curious to see what WWDC will bring for M4 vs older machines. I’d hate to see M1 and M2 get taken out of any new, cool stuff.

Same. Am on M1 12.9 and am happy with this. I am waiting for MacOS apps. If it comes, I will upgrade.

Why is it bad that your three year old product works fine and you're happy to keep using it? You do realize there's a whole lot of other customers who have much older iPads (or who are looking to change size/buy for the first time) that these models are targeted at?

An iPad is not a phone - it's not on a 2 year replacement cycle. With the power of the hardware there's no reason for Apple to make you feel like something only a few years old is obsolete - it's not the 90s anymore.

The most noticeable, tangible and usable difference is the front-facing camera moved to the landscape position. This greatly improves FaceTime and Zoom calls.

Imagine if Apples AI integration makes iPads way better and are in demand, they'll end up adding one hardware feature to them and raising the prices of their products AGAIN. But if its ho hum, expect even bigger discounts to come.
