its an iPhone that is red, what is there to wonder about?

Many people have purchased it. I don't recommend it, however, if you don't like the color red. Do you like the color red?
I bought one. It is a gorgeous phone. Red back and white front bezel combination is excellent. You will not regret it if you like whit bezel. I recommend purchasing it.

I bought Jet Black because I like Jet Black, but if you like Red than go ahead and buy a Red one. Also, a small percentage of your purchase goes to charity which of course is also important to note.

I wish it came with a black bezel. To the OP, just save your cash and get the iPhone 8 in a few months. It should be leagues better than the 7 and may also come in (RED) right off the bat.

Nice way to welcome a new member.
I would strongly recommend seeing it in person because the colour is hard to convey through pictures. In some lighting it is a very light, solid red. But in darker settings it has a much deeper, almost satin-like look. It's a lovely colour in my opinion. I think it also feels ever so slightly more tacky than the matte black (not the jet black, which is very grippy), which may be a consideration for you. 🙂
Or if this is the phone you like, check it out in person, and buy it! No need to wait for the next one when we have no idea what improvements it may or may not bring...

I have and it's gorgeous. Happy with matte black though.
7+ red iPhone here. It looks great and really stands out. No regrets getting it

The product red case is a hideous tomato red color and does not match the crimson color of the phone. Strongly do not recommend.

Simple question, if you think about it, the red iPhone 7 is an iPhone that is colored red. My response is fine. Bottom line is if you like the color get it.
My only complaint with the red 7+ is that, it really limits you on case options since there are not many red-friendly cases. The thought did not occur to me until after I started case shopping.
I'm essentially bound to clear cases or cases with red bumpers.
It doesn't look right with those traditional black/white cases at all (rhinoshields, xdoria etc).

I held a red 7 at the Apple store and the anodized finish was very nice. If they made it with a black bezel it might be considered but not moving from my 7+ until the 8 arrives.

I bought it. 7+. It is the most beautiful color of any colors ever offered for the iPhone and overshadowing jet black as it is the most eye catching and attention getter.
If you buy it and plan to use a case, make sure get a clear back case to show the gorgeous red color and unique shiny silver apple logo. Mine always get compliments for having the most beautiful red iPhone.?

Agree with the above comment. Only use clear case or a case with clear back to show the most gorgeous eye catching and attention getter red color. Love the color.

So I'm hoping to pick one up this weekend and I'm also wondering about case compatibility... Midnight blue maybe? Black perhaps?

Tried the black face but went back to the white. I think it just pops in white.

#1 - It is an iphone 7. Nothing less, nothing more.

I've got the red 7+. It's a gorgeous device. I had been a Space Gray/Black guy for the past few years but the white face is very clean and enhances the user experience.
I go caseless with all my iPhones and the red iPhone is certainly the type of phone to shouldn't be covered up!

im going to the Apple Store now and will check out the red while I am there. I've the black on order. Initially wanted gloss black but heard about prone to scratches and might be a little too much bling for my liking .
