im going to the Apple Store now and will check out the red while I am there. I've the black on order. Initially wanted gloss black but heard about prone to scratches and might be a little too much bling for my liking .

I've seen a few on my commute to work and I have to say it does look really nice.

I have one that is a 7+ and like that it is not one of the usual boring iPhone colors. However, it would look 1000x better if the front face was black instead of white.

I wholeheartedly agree with this sediment. I have a Product RED 7 128GB (regular size) that I really like, but I do wish it was offered with a black face. My other minor gripe with the red model is that it really necessitates using a clear case if you still want to see that it's red. Clear cases scratch fairly easily and a lot of them also like to yellow over time.
