Love this App

And especially because after LTE came it shows me I really have 50 mbit download and 30mbit upload on my iPhone 5.

My Wifi is at the moment only 12 mbit :-/ Soooo my phone is faster than my Wifi. Funny :)

I have Comcast's 105/20 Mbps and I can reliably get 110/20 using various speed test sites on my MBP wired or wirelessly connected to my AirPort Extreme.

Whenever I test using the speedtest.net app on my iPhone 5 I seem throttled to 40/20 even when using Comcast's test server through the app. If I use the Air Sharing app to send a file from MBP->iPhone and monitor the speed on the MBP I can easily exceed 100 Mbps.

If I look in the AirPort utility it states the iPhone is connected @ a 150 Mbps link speed in 802.11a/n mode.

Anyone else have this issue? Any suggestions why this might be happening? I presume it's related to the speedtest.net app since Air Sharing works at much higher speeds.

im digging the new look, the new icon and the new gui everything... very futuristic. AND thank goodness they didn't remove ugly kitty.. bwuahaha

My speeds on my iPhone 5 and iPad 2 are constantly and considerably lower than on my computer. I can get 35-40Mbps down on my MBA, but my iOS devices will only pull 20-25Mbps max.

Here's my extremely slow Sprint data along with the small amount of data it used to test it.

Glad I have unlimited data!

I had that issue with my i4, but my i5 can max out my 40Mb connection over wifi.

I just tried it with my school connection. I get about 100Mbps down and up. Its screaming. My phone I got 39Mbps down and 29Mbps up. So its about 40% of what my MBA can pull but its still ridiculously fast either way.

how much do you use per month?

From February 3 - March 2 I used
Sprint 3G Data Unlimited 692,857
Sprint 3G Data Roaming Unlimited 51,653

I live in an area that's totally void of Sprint, so I use wifi at home. Town pretty much has nothing but a very expensive (but really good) restaurant and a grocery store. As I work at a grocery store in a neighboring town, I don't shop the competition ;).

On the way to work, country roads and all, so I don't use my phone, and then at work, well, I'm working.

Even when I worked an hour away and would listen to Pandora both to and from work, I never really used more than 1.5 GB of data. I have no idea what people can use all that data on.

I am considering switching to AT&T. It's just a hassle moving 4 lines over. I SHOULD be able to get out of my contract ETF but we'll have to front the money to purchase new phones.
