I mentioned this a few posts up the thread but just to confirm they both support Mac/PC but only the Steam version has online multiplayer.

Mac App Store is LAN only.

Ok thanks. So the Steam version is the better version since it includes all the contact of the Mac App Store version + online multiplayer :D

Yep, if you want to play online or use the online RaceNet features/leaderboards then Steam is the best choice.

Hi all,

I just purchased the F1 game for my Mac through Steam, and a wireless Xbox 360/receiver (from Microsoft), but now I'm not sure how to go about installing it. I've heard some bad reports that the Tattiebogle drivers (.12) don't work with Mavericks and are causing kernel crashes. Can anyone provide any support on this issue? Should a different app be used instead?

Much appreciated!

The drivers are fine on most machines most people with issues have had older drivers installed which did exhibit a bug on some hardware and the upgrade didn't clean up the older settings very well but this is just an educated guess. We have the drivers installed on every QA machine (and we have almost every model of modern mac) without any 100% crash issues.

However with open source software your experience my vary.
