Apple is planning to introduce a "Christmas surprise" next month, according to reliable leaker L0vetodream.

In a usual enigmatic tweet, L0vetodream says that Apple's "surprise" will be "good for winter." It remains to be seen at the current time as to what the tweet may be referring to.

Last December, Apple announced a holiday promotion that allowed Apple Card customers to get up to 6% Daily Cash back on most Apple products purchased through the end of the year.

With a slew of product announcements from Apple over the past few months, two heavily-rumored products still have yet to be be released: AirPods Studio and AirTags. Code found in the recent iOS 14.3 beta suggests Apple is rolling out the groundwork to add support for third-party item trackers to the Find My app, as well as additional support for AirTags. There's also an icon in the beta that may hint at the design of the AirPods Studio.

Neither ‌AirPods Studio‌ nor ‌AirTags‌ are expected to be released before the end of the year, and it’s likely that the two products will be unveiled at some point in early 2021. Either of the accessories launching before the end of the year would certainly qualify as a surprise.

I believe this surprise will be a universal app dubbed iSnow. It’ll be really cool. No doubt it’ll leave most of us out in the cold.

Here is my guess. Which may not make it for release this dec. With the release of fitness+, I feel there is going to be some incorporation with the uwb chip. Apple patents show led use of the air tags strapped onto the body. Maybe used for vr, but my bet is on fitness tracking. Iwatch 6 has uwb already, and I almost guarantee uwb will be utilized with ifitness.
So while, maybe no airtags yet, perhaps a new Apple TV with uwb? If the Apple TV is already the hub for home (for many homes) wouldn’t it make sense for it to utilize uwb for home automation? Walk out of a room, lights go off.

Also to add onto this, as far as home automation goes, just use the Lidar scanner to make a map of your house. Create multiple zones easy, within a couple feet of accuracy. If this doesn’t happen soon, it’s just a matter of time. This will happen.

My guess is something philanthropic.
So maybe $5 of every iPhone sold goes to help fund PPEs for healthcare front line workers.

It has to be airtags. Several reliable Leakers have already said that AirPods studio are facing tons of production difficulties, and airtags have been ready to go for months. Also, airtags are small enough that a website refresh will do.
on top of this, he said that these would be “ good for winter.”
this could be airtags for several reasons.
#1: good stocking stuffers.
#2: more indoor activities, so easier to lose things.
Airtags has consistently over been rumored for over 2yrs now.

seriously how much does anyone think ducha a tiny product could cost to make? How HARD does it take to make it in volume (consider tule and so many other tiny companies selling their own versions with gps compatible units for 7$CAN ~ 2x Starbucks grande coffees).

this tiny cheap products consistently keeps being promised by everyone. Hints here and there etc etc but yet nothing ! Nothing. Heck a $1000 iPhone gets leaked. In 6mths we see dummy’s and pics of mock-ups. Then full on product in-store dummy’s with case partners making products for an upcoming product That’s 6mths away and boom we have it in the official announcement. But a sub $10 product that offers nothing more tangible use for consumers being Tile?!

just doesn’t make any common sense.

Jonny should be a Bond villain

Maybe a new Apple TV? That would be nice to have during winter since we’ll all be stuck inside.

yes. That’s where my money is on. Or new partners into a single registration via AppleTV+. Maybe both

Diffidently fit into a Christmas sock nicely! ;)

indeed. The ex can get my ATV4 whilst I upgrade.

Socks y’all

those colour iPhone 4 / iPod Touch socks?! ;)
HA! I'm surprised Apple is still giving us the stickers for free 😂
Cause the stickers are not black :(

To adapt to the upcoming economic recessions around the world next year, Apple will increase their prices by 10% across the board. Will surely warm up the stockings of Tim. /s

It will be Apple Christmas cards to send your family for $20 each.
Oddly enough 20 years from now there will be 7 of them saved from the year that everyone laughed at them costing $20 each, then the 7 remaining are worth enough future money to get you a free ride off this molten rock.

(Who’s laughing NOW to the Pandemic Apple Christmas Card Debacle.)
