i fully believe the environment in which people live and work has an underestimated effect upon the quality of that life and work. And so i'm glad apple are building such a lovely new campus, and i think it will have a positive effect upon all the apple employees who work there, and eventually, however imperceptibly, upon the products they think up and design.
At the same time, i think it underlines the importance of cracking down on suppliers to make sure that the people actually constructing the components into the products that pay for their lovely campus aren't working in miserable sweatshop conditions where the quality of their life and work is the very other end of the scale, all so we consumers don't pay another 20 bucks or whatever on an iphone.
Just sayin'.
