Does Apple have enough cash to bail out the government yet?

Better still, Apple should just form their own country, secede, and purchase states one at a time from the government. United States of Apple.

Imagine how democratic that would be...

Somehow the parking garage looks weird to me. Will there be some noise canceling in the big cafeteria?

The parking structure reminds me of the one at Disneyland.... If only... it is the best designed parking structure I have ever tried to exit from (most have you drive different directions just to exit, the one at Disneyland, you drive to the end of the row, turn left, then 2 more lefts and you are out, no confusion)...

*Thinks of something supportive to say*

It all looks:

Impersonal...

Sterile...

Intimidating...

Empty...

Soul draining...

Depressing...

'European'...

A logistical nightmare...

Fun to bring your bike to on a rainy night or weekend...

An advertisement for Segways...

I hope people can customize their offices...

Needs tapestries...

Expensive...

Fake!

That Car Park is obviously a fake - the cars are on the wrong side of the road. Schoolboy error.
;)

I fully believe the environment in which people live and work has an underestimated effect upon the quality of that life and work. And so I'm glad Apple are building such a lovely new Campus, and I think it will have a positive effect upon all the Apple employees who work there, and eventually, however imperceptibly, upon the products they think up and design.

At the same time, I think it underlines the importance of cracking down on suppliers to make sure that the people actually constructing the components into the products that pay for their lovely campus aren't working in miserable sweatshop conditions where the quality of their life and work is the very other end of the scale, all so we consumers don't pay another 20 bucks or whatever on an iPhone.

Just sayin'.

I think the place looks kinda creepy.

More than kinda. And how much money will be wasted on heating and cooling that monstrosity...

I suppose everyone in the Cafeteria will be whispering. Rooms with tall ceilings get pretty reverberant.

Looks great otherwise. I don't remember the one at 1IL being that airy.

I love the lobby. Don't like the green accent on the parking garage or the bland nature of the cafeteria though.

Yes, along those lines.
