If you can come up with a way to make the antenna's work... I mean something the designers paid 6 figure salaries couldn't come up with, then let them know so you can be happier with the design.

Im digging the new design but am waiting for the 5"..... Tired of tiny phones.

2. These can't be real because it has a round flash. Apple wouldn't go back from true tone flash.

Every mock up for the past 3 months has shown the single led flash. Which leads me to believe it's true. Because any fake mocks would for sure show the pill shaped flash thinking Apple wouldn't change the design so soon. But why do people think it's a step backwards? The dual led was a bit nicer, but the flash still sucked (Let's be honest)! I'm actually pumped to see it might be changed. Because it's stupid to think apple would take a step backward. I have a feeling that the camera and flash are going to be key features on the 6. And leaps and bounds better then what's on the 5S. Just wait and see.

It's not for market share their memo, it's for their profits ....
This hysteria about bigger screens is the trend of the moment, and Apple is following it. They are not later they just realized that NOW they need a bigger iPhone to please their customers.
Chrome OS ? Give me a break ....
 
Only a few more months before Round III of Apple vs. Samsung begins. Prediction: Apple will sue Samsung for infringing upon their "innovations" including barometric pressure sensors, temperature sensors, pulse sensors, and larger screens.

iPhone fanbois who previously stated that the iPhone is already too big will be praising Apple for this revolutionary innovation, and that larger screens are the way to go, that anyone who desires a smaller screen is simply insane.

Aren't there basically no parts leaks or any other physical indications the supposed 5.5 inch iPhone is actually going into production?

First I'm very happy to see this looks a bit wider than earlier designs. Extremely good news after Apple bungled it's tall and narrow iPhone 5/5S twins.

Second I do agree with the post above. The breaks or seams or sections kill it's ability to look fresh and new. Apple doesn't have to cling to the same old style to keep their minions happy. An all new look would capture the most admiration.

Perhaps Apple has become secure with the smallest of changes. Fear preventing them from allowing J. Ive the freedom to do what he's capable of.

Decisions to be conservative paints Apple as old, slow and timid. I miss the Apple of yesteryear. :)

On topic, all these rumors point to one possible truth: the iPhone 6 may have a 4.7" display. That's it. Until official announcement (WWDC or August?), we won't know any more to confirm rumored details.

As for the name/logo, god help me if "beats" makes it way on the device a la the "HP iPod". Maybe Apple will produce an iPhone 6b, forming an "a, b, c" product line. :p

Ugly antenna cuts

If those lines on the back make it to the final design I'd be very disappointed with Jony Ive's team.
I'd much rather go for an all-plastic 4.7" iPhone "6c" (if that ever happens) than this. I'm sure i't not easy to design a metal-back handset bc of the radio transparency cutouts, but this "solution" is really distasteful IMO.
We should wait and see if this is really the final design and how it looks in reality. Apple have never disappointed [me] before :rolleyes:
Other that that, I love and welcome the rounded corners and bigger screen!
 
Anyone think the seams are liquid metal which will be painted the same color of the phone? Now that would look nice.

Ugly as hell. Apple is going south with this.
Remember iPhone 1 :), just a tad slimmer.
Boy that aluminum looked bad after 1 year of wear, just like 5/5s.

I hope it is just fake, coz otherwise Apple just entered the arena of boring gadgets.
Actually 4/4s was the apogee of design an usability (glass is tougher than aluminum and scratches are not that visible).
 
I dont believe for a second that apple will make an antenna ring around the top and bottom. It looks horrible.

If it's going to be wider and longer, it makes sense to make it thinner, to keep the weight as light as possible
 
wow if this render is true and the brighter parts are made of plastic, it is really ugly as hell, htc did much better job with m8 just two tiny stripes and all metal body this looks like some awful piece of crap sorry to say this. I am big fan of apple I have ip5s + ipad but this doesn´t look good if it is true.

Give me a break.

People said the same thing about the iPhone 5 before it came out and now they don't complain about it's aesthetics.
