The iPhone 6 will be unveiled at the WWDC this year, and it is likely to be available for preorder before July.

That would be sweet....but we would have seen the parts leaks and boxes by now.

----------

To recap rumors for new products that Apple is supposed to be introducing in the second half of 2014:

4.7 inch iPhone
5.5 inch iPhone
iWatch
12 inch retina Macbook
cheaper iMac

May I suggest ain't no way all of these are happening in one half year. Especially given the rumored iWatch would be the first completely new product line under Cook, I just don't see Apple introducing a 5.5 inch iPhone as basically an afterthought.

Given the rumored delays, late 2015 seems a much more plausible first date for a 5.5 inch iPhone.

Maybe the iWatch will be release by itself in September and iPhone 6 will go back to the summer schedule. I could work with that timing.

the logo opening looks like an opportune place for whatever sensors they insert into this thing

I think this design is legit, and I like it a lot. Now interesting things we don't know yet are:
1- what material will be used for antenna windows, glass is impossible because now they are rounded and placed on the most sensible areas for accidental drops.
2- display resolution, 1334x752 is what I expect for the 4.7" device
3- 5.5" device, we know nothing about it

If the new iPhone doesn't get announced/released at the next keynote, I'm seriously thinking of going to samsung.

You can't deny that apple missed timed the larger screen market which allowed competitors to take a larger market share.

Since there isn't a single "larger screen" model that sold more than iPhone, yes, I can deny.
Apple is changing screen dimensions in the moment they feel the need to do that, and I'm sure iPhone 6 will be another sales record.

Market share means nothing ....

Have to wait and see the finished product but can't say I like the beveled edges too much. Either way it would be put in a otterbox so that would hide most of the ugliness :)

I just need the bigger screen. 4.7 to 5 would be ideal. I think 5.5 would be too big for my needs.

OEMs are dying. Their only hope and growth comes from bigger screens, especially Samsung.

If Apple keeps a top of the line 4" device, and attacks the 5" market (similar with the ipad) they totally own the lucrative part of the market.

Then what? It will be fun.

In the US you mean?

Someone just took a canvas and oils and painted me a picture of a Bugatti Veyron into being, therefore it shall arrive in my driveway and become my possession, next wednesday.

Don't believe me? Then don't believe this "news" crap, either.

I'm sure market share means nothing.....thats why Apple has internal memos siting the need to go to larger screens due to lost market share. Ha! Apple is has Google and Android coming up fast and they know it. They are losing the education system to Chrome OS and they are concerned about Android.

Hello Mr Schmidt - nice to see you here. Chrome OS isn't driving anyone away from Apple products - are you smoking something? :D

Whaf if you have poor network? There are many spots on this planet with zero coverage, does it mean we have to accept our device being useless because some people try to push cloud services as they never travel?
I could fill 256 GB of data anyday, it also depends how heavy usage is...

Apple offer higher levels of storage for you to choose from. You also have access to wifi networks which can access cloud services while travelling.

Huh?

I don't get this mentality.... So you're basically saying you're too impatient to wait for the device to be ready if Apple doesn't make it happen for you by WWDC, and that would make you switch to a Samsung branded Android phone?

Why not just switch now and save yourself some grief worrying about it? Major carriers have been running lots of deals for the latest Galaxy phones for months now.

If you wait -- it's not announced or going on sale quickly enough for you, and THEN you buy the Samsung? You're just (apparently) going to be upset with your decision as soon as it DOES get released, and will probably have to take a big financial loss to switch phones a second time.

All I know is, I've gone with the iPhone pretty consistently ever since the first model was released. I tried Android phones a few times, randomly, when situations arose like my employer providing one for me. And so far, I kept concluding I was more comfortable using iOS, all in all. If you don't agree, and you're fine with either Android or iOS? Heck, buy one of the Samsungs or an HTC or whatever you like, and move on.

I get it - it's the "look at ME" culture of the internet. Any attention is better than no attention at all, for people too insecure to consider the scary thought of being seen (ironically, they're rarely heard OR seen, outside forums, where noone really cares tbh - can't blame them) as a person without a voice, who's "opinion" is irrelevant to the masses/a giant corporation. This is how people with very few cognitive skills get attention - they parrot these "threats" to a deaf audience who don't even know of their existence, let alone their purchases, as a (rather empty and pointless) way of "having a voice".

Apple don't care for your empty, unprovable, unquantifiable threats - say them in the mirror for the same result it will have. If you want Apple to consider you, call Apple and parrot this guff, instead of voicing it for nods of approval by randoms on t'internet.

Don't care what you do with your first word problems and whining about how "dissatisfied" or "bored" you are with X device - if you're bored, read a book and get a life, and stop stroking your devices whilst refreshing Apple.com - NOONE CARES, with all compassion - why should they?

Go have a look around your local elementary school, they are all beginning to use Chromebooks and Google Drive, Docs, and Hangouts. My town and surrounding towns have adopted the new OS. It was featured on Bloomberg 2 weeks ago. Google is targeting elementary schools........smart move if you ask me. BTW...I don't smoke.

I'm sure they are :) - Google will (attempt to) target anyone who'll put up with their inferior "products".
