Repair Status- "Repair Cancelled" WTF?!

Happily, I'm getting a new computer.
Should I still ask for something for my aggravation and time lost?
Perhaps a sleeve, a chill mat, or even applecare extended warranty?
What say you?

Don't be an ass about it, but my GF pressed for a free copy of iLife 09 when AppleCare took too long to fix an issue on my unibody.

I'd have to agree with the above statement, just thank them and be happy. IF you have any other issues in the future with this new machine, last thing you want them to remember is you asking for something free

I know it sucks and it's time wasted but don't burn any bridges now you may need to cross later!

Does not 'Dual' indicate 'Two'?
I'm not the most tech-savvy, but could you expound on this plz? I thought there were Two graphics cards in the new unibodies, thus 'Dual GPU's'?

You can only us one at a time currently. You make the switch in system pref's and then it will ask you to relog, takes just a few seconds. The good news though is I've read in the upcoming release of Snow Leapard it will use both in SLI mode where you will in fact see a benefit.

Trackpad wise I never "click it" I have it setup for the tap and double tap drag effect. I agree it is a bit clunky for the clicking but with the options under trackpad I love it now. The feel of the glass is way better imo then the older style ones.

Glad your enjoying it though, I've only been on Mac's now for about 8 months and love OSX. I'm learning everyday new cool features and can't imagine ever using anything but OSX.
