Is it possible to remove the "⭐️ New Story ⭐️" text that appears on every new story notification from MacRumors.com? This text is redundant and a bit obnoxious when you see it repeated many times in notifications. Is it an issue with MacRumors or in Safari's notifications?

I know it's Safari notifications, Weaselboy. But why is it saying "⭐️ New Story ⭐️" on every notification? Very spammy and annoying.

I don't have notifications on, so I've never seen this, but I had to laugh when I saw it. Of course it's a new story. Are they going to start sending notifications for old stuff? This is reason 077 why I don't like website notifications.

Because you can have other notifications from MR as well, perhaps?

So, we tried different variants. With the article title in the title slot, and other versions of it. This one seemed least weird. There's not enough text to fit in a meaningful summary, so the body we ended up choosing to be the article headline.

New Story was just a placeholder. I don't think it looks right if we leave it blank.

One plan had been to vary it... so New Story, New Deal, New How To.... but we never got around to it.

We can look into it again
