iPod touch Replaced screen now small problem

Hi all

I've replace the broken screen on my daughters iPod Touch 2G
I was successful in doing the job but doesn't seem to work everywhere on the screen🙁🙁

For instance when typing text the bottom 2 rows are not responsive, yet the
slide works fine.

Try a restore. I say this because it seems that the screen works in some occasions, but not in the other; it could be a software issue.
