Replacement AirPod Pros... feel different?

Hello - I have had AirPod Pros since launch and recently got them replaced because of the AirPod Pro Service Program (static/crackling)... the odd thing is... they seem different. The replacement AirPod Pros feel slightly boxier. Did they change design since launch?

Only thing that's been added/changed that I'm aware of is the case. It's now MagSafe charging capable..

It’s the less slimy and oily plastic that feels better. Only change is the outer grill is now recessed
