iPad QC
I have read this thread over and over and if it took you 5 times to get an iPad with "Perfect" performance did you make note of this and contact Apple at there main office? If it were me, and I'm not OCD but I would definetly be calling and reporting the serial numbers.
Also after having to go through 3 representatives at AT&T to setup a dataplan for my iPad it would be double torture, having to read off the ICC & IMEI numbers again.
I know 3 of the genius's at the local store and they have only seen around 10 cases of this so called bleed, they said they take the unit in the back to a darker area to make sure before swapping out, if they send back units with out a problem to the refurbishment unit and there is no problem then it reflects back on the store / management / genius.
I know when I first switched to apple there was problems with so called yellowish tint or bleed and sitting at the apple store and listening to people who had just bought a MBP less then an hour before and returning I seriously questioned there claims.
Some people have a legitimate problem with there apple hardware and justify this and others have nothing better to do with there time then to waste a time slot for a genius there chronic complaining of problems that are not there.
Guess I was blessed and have a perfect one, and later this year when I buy a second one I hope I'm blessed then.
