Yea the agent promised me i will be receiving a brand new unit w/ original box and everything. I guess I will call back and see what happens
Any potential issues in accepting a replacement that gets delivered in such kind of a plain box? I'm guessing most of these replacement devices are new since the phone has been out only for a couple of weeks now.
Yes at this stage in the product life cycle it would be hard to imagine any refurbished units...But if you want to be sure your getting new the best bet is return and repurchase.Any potential issues in accepting a replacement that gets delivered in such kind of a plain box? Probably treated it as an exchange as opposed to a repair. If the store has stock this is definitely an option.I walked into my Apple Store for a replacement and walked out the same day with a brand new Space Grey 64GB.
It wasn't white box it was brand new. The picture of the phone on the box, charger, ear buds... Everything...
What you did is more of a return/exchange, and if you are within 14 days return period. You certainly can do this, but after 14 day window you will just have to see genius bar and get a white box replacement.I walked into my Apple Store for a replacement and walked out the same day with a brand new Space Grey 64GB.

Anyone else having issues with getting their 6S+ replaced? Seems stores around me have no stock and the express replacement option offered is taking well over a week and still has not shipped. Usually when I used this service before it shipped same or next business day. Wasn't sure if it was just my general area or if this was a common theme.
If you purchased the phone through the carrier retail store and you need replacement, yes you can walk into the apple store and set up a genius appointment. They will give you a white box only replacement with just a phone and no other accessories. If this is not what you want then you can simply return the phone at your carrier retail and buy another one from them if they have any available. If you ordered your phone through your carrier, are you still able to walk into an Apple Store to get a replacement? Mines only a week old and has a few bugs and want it replaced with a brand new one. Apple care on the phone told me I would get a new one in store. I haven't gone in yet to confirm this, just wondering if it makes a difference that I purchased mine through my carrier and not through Apple Store

Are you guys that got replacements mailed to you paying the $30 for that? One of the 6s I bought had an issue with the screen flickering out of the box, and even after speaking to three or four different people and supervisors on the phone and on the chat, they refuse to waive the fee for me. I am not paying an extra $30 to get a working phone that I already paid $850 for.
It's a huge pain to get to my nearest Apple Store, and everytime I check for appointments, there are none until at least a week out. I guess I'm stuck with that though
I placed two repair orders but due to how long they took to process wound up canceling them and returning and repurchasing the phone from a store that had stock. Both replacements they waived my fee without me even asking. Are you guys that got replacements mailed to you paying the $30 for that? Should be here by end of the week. No questions asked
