If you're not motivated to make them look good, you point out that overall sales of Teslas globally seem to be starting to plateau, having sold 1.77m cars globally last year, earning them a rank of 14th, between Audi and Renault, not even coming CLOSE to VW (4.97m) or Toyota (8.57m).
The Silicon Valley method of making your customers beta testers doesn't work so well with cars. Once the enthusiastic believers all have their cars, the rest of us aren't going to want to be beta testers for flawed cars.
