Reservation System Ain't Working

I also had the similar situations where I was getting close to finish the process. Definitely it is not broken but if Apple can improve so that when you are at the last mile, at least the server allows you to keep the session till the end for a limited time. The most time-consuming part of the experience is even when you are on the very last stage of the order process, the server busy message can blow you off and waste all the efforts.

Finally able to secure one iPhone 4S tonight.. looks like the 2nd batch of stock just came in in Toronto area as the store I reserved actually had everything in stock regardless of colour and size when I made the attempt tonight. This is the 1st time I've ever seen a store with complete inventory since I tried 2 weeks ago.

Let's hope I get a good one tomorrow without problems as I think it is difficult to get it replaced due to stock quantity..

I also managed to get an iphone 4s reserved at one of the Apple Stores in the DC area. took me about 23 minutes with the slow load times and apple servers briefly going down.

16GB hard to come by in any state. When I reserved, reserved the
32G; when I picked up (Northern NJ), tried to see if they would give me a
16G and Apple rep said they are extremely hard to come by, most popular of the three and unless I had reserved it, couldn't do the swap.

I have been trying for a few nights now, finally had a white 16 gig, but after I entered my username / password, it told me it was no longer available....

They only thing that really bothers me is that for the last few days they have had all the Verizon flavors in stock everyday. Seeing as it is a world phone and all, it would have been nice to see a few more AT&T ones....

Has anyone noticed a problem reserving from the Apple Store App where the subsidized prices are $50 higher on all models ($249/$349/$449)?
