same here...would love to see this in canadian stores also...either way I'm going be at my local apple store at 8am...hoping to grab me one

I dont think it is going to work, I just tried on the ap to see if it was open for reservations and it wouldnt let me get to the shipping part. It said you cant have more than one order for a phone line. It seems like you will have to roll the dice and canel your online order and take your chances everyday.

Can anyone answer this? Can we reserve an "in store pickup" iPhone with out using an upgrade on your account? I want to obviously pay full price so I can retail my unlimited data.

I know when going through the options you have to select carrier and it asks for your number, social, etc. and it told me I am avail for an upgrade. But I don't want to mess with that and loose my unlimited data.

I also can't remember, do you pay in store at at the time of the reservation?

Hmm, is this the same as reservations for in store next day pickup? It looks like you have to actually purchase ("place your order") and are not able to reserve one like in the past. Unless it is the same thing? This may make being able to swap devices more difficult.

Available for pickup:
Check availability...

What is Personal Pickup?

Simply place your order on the Apple Online Store, then pick it up at your favorite Apple Retail Store. When you arrive, we'll help you set it up, so you'll be up and running before you leave the store.

Choose the "Pick up" option when you check out, then select an Apple Retail Store near you.
Products "Available today" can usually be picked up within an hour of placing your order.
You'll receive a notification email when your order is ready to be picked up.
You can pick up the order yourself, or have someone else pick it up for you.

The Check Availability for pickup in sotre for the 5s is working right NOW on Apple.com

Thanks for the reply, appreciate it.

When you say "app", do you just mean the Apple Store website, or do you specifically mean the Apple Store App?

I'm in the UK, and interestingly if I go to the US store, then I can see the option "Available for pickup: Check for availability" when I configure an iPad, however if I do exactly the same on the UK store, I don't see this option, regardless of which device I choose (i.e. iPad, iPod etc)

I'm assuming the reserve & collect option is indeed available in the UK, so not sure why the difference.

No prob. Yes, I meant the Apple Store app, in the app store, for iOS, with the blue icon.

However at this point, use the online apple.com store, check every hour, enter the phone model you want, and then click Pickup in Store, and find a location near you with the phone. All of a sudden it will work and there will be a shipmnet come in near you and phones to buy/reserve.

At least thats how to do it in the US.

We checked a bunch today and finally at 7 pm it popped online and we were able to get two 32gig silver Verizons. They had no 32 gig of any color launch day.

And you're right the browser on a computer is better than checking on the app. In app you have to put in your carrier billing stuff before seeing eligibility. On the computer you can check availability with out the carrier hassle.

was anyone able to pickup t-mobile gold 16/32 gb through personal pickup, and what time does the next day's availability is loaded for each store?
