I get the idea about the watch coming in a nice design case, especially because my Invicta watch came in a pretty dazzling box. But I honestly found no need for such a fancy watch. Sure it was awesome but not like I sit it in my living room.

He allegedly works for a media company that for a review watch. Just hope the embargo wasn't still in place or he may have cost his employers future review items. Apple as a real stick up their butts about those rules

If you see the comments it sounds like his mate (apple retail staff) was saying "did this come after I left work?"

If that is the source then yes he will likely be fired. Rumor has it that Tim and Angela are seething that the discount was leaked to various sites within five minutes of them announcing it. If they ever find out the source that person will likely be walked out very quickly.

Ha. Worth it.

Not when he loses his job. After the discount link, corporate could be watching very very closely. If this guy is a store employee that he leaked this has probably already been discovered. Even with his account private his name is on it and in the MR article. The paperwork to fire him could already be in progress. He could walk into work today, tonight, tomorrow and be walked out with a final paycheck in hand. Goodbye Apple, discount on his apple watch (has to be ordered via a store computer) etc.

What's funny is that it could have been avoided if macrumors etc hadn't put a link and his name. This is the same mistake Gizmodo made that got them blacklists for several years. "Source have revealed" would have been enough. No need to call out the name

Someone should check on him in the coming weeks, see if he's still an analyst there lol

He might not be given that his employers could be angry that he didn't post said info on their site, thus getting them all the page hits and ad hit money

packages are nice

I do like apple packaging. The boxes are strong, simple and clean. I really really like the Milanese loop for the apple watch! I dont know how much it costs but i LOVE it!!
