Too bad it's only on the top-end model. I'd love that card on the 20" iMac. Still, at least it's an option and some will be available for refurbed anyway by the time I'm ready to buy one. 2GB standard on all but the base model too.

This is kinda funny but I called the specs in one of my other posts.. Only one I got wrong is the 1499 20 inch.. I figured they would make it a 2.8 as well. Guess it's a 2.4 24 inch refurb for me

well it is a higher FSB so it makes me wonder if it's going to be a noticeable speed increase over the other.
so, minor speed bump, upped the FSB ,graphics card improved on the higher end model (sells as much as the entry level... ) and RAM is cheaper, so thats good.
oh good find poster from above... you can upgrade the gpu on the smaller 24" i suspect it will be a hot seller with the 512mb card. I'll have to mention it though... and the bad part is I cant get that one from the apple distribution channel, only from apple directly... (pricier for me)

Actually it's a not-insignificant upgrade since Intel modified Santa Rosa to provide some of the benefits of Montevina to these new iMacs. 😎
