Rethinking the Rose Gold

I hate the black fronts on iPhones..... They make them look a whole lot less premium.

Gold back and white front is my current favourite.... I was considering rose gold, and ultimately I don't think I would mind it, but I stayed safe and went gold as I know I love it

I'm the opposite. A white bezel shows off just how large the bezels really are, thereby making the display seem small in comparison. You also see all the cutouts for the sensors which makes it look cheaper.

View attachment 581077 I would have gone with rose gold had they offered it with black face. I like the black face, even use black wallpaper and black leather case. Makes images even apps really pop out and make the whole face appear like the screen.
If you get stuck having to watch video on a smaller screen, all black certainly helps with that.

I used to love white bezels and still do on my iPhone 6 and iPad; however, I think the black bezel looks better on the iPhone 6+. Don't know why.

I agree 100%! I have always had black/space gray iPhones and I'm going with the silver this time cuz it looks awesome, but I do agree the silver on the iPhone 6 plus doesn't look as nice at all, I don't know what it is.

Rose gold will have the highest resale value. You made the right choice. Get a case for it. Problem solved
I really considered it, but their colour is a little too pink.

I'd have got it with a black face and a more copper colour like most real life rose gold. (I know that the colour of rose gold varies in real life, but the Apple colour is just too pink.)

I just have a preference toward the white front because i think it compliments iOS better. Ultimately I just wanted to try out the new color this year so went with the rose gold, if I like it I may get another for the 7 or I may try out something different.

I prefer the more industrial look of the black. When the phone is lying on the desk with the display off, it looks like one uniform black face rather than a smaller screen surrounded by gaping white bezels. I'd always gone for black until my 5S died in a water-related incident - the insurance company had me sent a replacement which was silver/white and I found it to look a little more like a cheap android rather than the premium device it's meant to be. So it's SG again for me.

Black bezels look so boring and dull.

I think it depends on whether you want to look at the phone or look at what's on the screen. What I like about black bezels is that you don't see them - they sort of disappear and allow you to focus on the app/video/whatever.

But to each their own. :)
