I've been torn on this issue as well.. I'm thinking of putting one on there just for the peace of mind knowing I don't have to worry about it being scratched. Still trying to decide though.. Oh the problems of a new iPad owner. Hahah ;)

I just don't see how someone can scratch an iPad with the smart cover. I guess the iPhone is possible to scratch if the users is not careful.

Nope. Too lazy and also too bad at applying screen covers. I had a front a rear shield on my iPhone 4, but ended up hating the dust and dirt that clung to the edges and just got rid of them entirely.

I ordered spg for iPad 2 thinking it would meet the same demensions but the camera was a bit off. I also asked my friend to help since I suck at installing but he messed up and I threw it out. I only had one pack as it came from eBay for 15. Sooooo I'm just waiting for an iPad 3 ultra optics. I hate zagg and I hate everything about it. The feel of it sucks and so did the installation. Spg is my first non generic and non zagg product that I have used. The clarity was so clear that it didn't look like I had a cover at all. It just sucks that a lot of bubbles were caught due to his mistake. Oh well it's something I'm willing to do because I love the quality but I hate the finger prints when it's naked. Ultra optics reduces fingerprints and the feel is great. I'm pretty sure that's the one I want.
