Anyone getting an issue with tap to click? About 5% of the time, a tap will result in the pointer moving to the left without registering a click.
Ive confirmed this happens without having any other digits or palms on the trackpad. Also I've installed the firmware update.

I can also make the pointer shoot down to the lower left of the screen by rapidly tapping on the trackpad, try alternating between your index and middle finger and see what happens!

rMBP with new installation (not from backup)

Have you installed the Retina MBP trackpad update? Came through software update for me.

However, I have the general feeling that the Retina's trackpad isn't as sensitive as the MBA's. It quite frequently doesn't register tap-to-clicks.

Addicted. Love this thing. I should be in bed early every night instead I'm up with my laptop!:p

Does it sing "Rise and Shine"? Or just hunk you out of bed with an original, digitized version of the Ford Model A horn?

I've had to see a doctor about my erection persisting for more than 4 hours when using it, but yeah…this.

We'll see the Viagra producing pharmaceutical company sue Apple for infringing on their patents.

Don't get me wrong I love this machine but i have to say I am consciously waiting for some software updates as well as considering returning for an exchange at some point

1. MagSafe 2, clearly not as a good as the previous choice. Always coming out when the notebook is situated on my lap. I know this will not be changed anytime soon but it's a pain.

2. Creaking/Rattle sound in the build. Have a feeling there's either a loose screw or loose component inside the machine. May ask for an exchange

3. UI Lag/Software Lag and rendering in Safari. I know this is all down to the CPU decoding of the images in higher resolution etc. Mountain lion should somewhat resolve such issues. I hope Apple continue on improving this through software. We should expect the best performance from such machine.

4. Keyboard heat - When playing a game as expected the machine heats up and quite significantly when playing demanding games at high resolutions. The keyboard especially the area around the key area for controls in games W key etc seems to become extremely hot, possibly too much to touch. I don't know wether this is a defect with my machine or simply a design flaw with the GPU/CPU location?

5. GPU switching, I have also noticed that the GPU especially the nvidia is being used inefficiently when not necessary. Possibly a result of the higher resolutions and the UI? Again not great for battery life. I hope Apple work on this a little further with updates.

Let me know your thoughts and comments on these issues.
