I'm afraid Ben_Dover is correct. The apple watch is a dud. Don't be too sad. Apple had a good run and they were bound to fail at some point. What a shame that their perfect record (

Just like when Porsche went out of business due to unexplained fires and had to give all of their money away (
http://money.cnn.com/2014/03/18/autos/porsche-911-gt3-engine-replace/); what do you expect for $130,000.
Or when Ferrari sold a $200,000 handcrafted Italian barbeque grill (
http://wheels.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/09/01/ferrari-458-italia-supercar-is-recalled/?_r=0).
As for the $399 watch, I'm sad to admit that it has performed every function I expected it to. But it doesn't keep my wrist warm, so dud. Perhaps Porsche or Ferrari could make a watch...
Should someone contact Cupertino's chamber of commerce and tell them that 1 Infinite loop is now available to rent?
Serious note: I'm sorry to anyone that buys a product and is unhappy. Regardless of cost or manufacturer. It isn't fun being disappointed.
Sometimes things don't work; even expensive things.
Personally, I like my watch but I'm not telling everyone that they must buy one. I'll discuss its strengths and weaknesses and let them decide what is right for them.
If anyone isn't interested based on the reviews, descriptions, or trials, then I hope they do not buy it. I'm not offended if you don't buy a product I didn't make.
For those that do buy it and decide it was a mistake, I hope it happens within the 14 day period where apple will take back your watch; no questions asked and no restocking fee.
If you like the product but feel that your specific copy was defective, then Apple will replace it it.
Best of luck!
