I love mine, and you did not. Glad I live in America an have a choice. 5c screen to me would be laughable, I'm not trying to go blind by 40 looking at that little device display .

Was it a struggle when you/if you had the 4/4S/5/5S...oh how we forget sometimes.

I bought a Verizon 32GB Black Iphone 7 Plus. I have been rocking a 5c for two years that still works surprisingly well. I got my new phone and started setting it up. The issue of the loud processor, coil whine or whatever is very real. I could easily hear it without putting my ear to the phone. The phone immediately started running extremely hot as soon as it started setting up. The screen didnt appear to be yellow or have any dead pixels. Callswere extremely muffeled through the earpiece but videos through the external speakers sound pretty good. All in all, I was fairly disappointed with the performance and returned it and went back to my 5c. Ill wait for next year or when my phone dies and I have to upgrade. This phone wasnt up to Apple standards in my opinion.

After Much Testing my 7 Plus Matte Black IS literally a DownGrade over the 6s Plus

#1. No 3.5mm Jack so I can't Charge and listen to Audio in the care simultaneously
#2. Display is yellowish and dimmer
#3. Jet Back was scratched in seconds Why would they even offer this option
#4. MArginally better Camera I can Live Without it.

Went into Apple Store Rep said Let me Guess you are returning your 7 Plus Jet Black I said yes he didn't even ask what was wrong with it. Over $800 Refund Cash on the spot.

I am over 40 and I have zero problems reading a 4 inch screen. I have nowhere near 20/20 vision and cant even drive without prescription glasses.

The iPhone 7 launched with more issues - some minor, some major - than any other model in recent memory. None of the issues appear to be very widespread, and none of them rise to the level of the phone exploding in flames (*cough*Note7*cough*), but a yellowing screen or hissing from the processor is definitely cause to return/exchange a defective iPhone 7. Some of these issues will be cleared up with a software update. Some folks will have simply gotten a bad unit and need to exchange it. But there are plenty of people sporting shiny new iPhone 7's with zero issues. I'm confident the lads in Cupertino will sort this all out.

When folks say they wouldn't buy a 7 now I really cannot blame them. I'm waiting myself. My 6s Plus is still perfect for me so there is no reason to jump on the 7 just to say I jumped. Waiting is prudent, especially with potential issues floating around.

Pretty sure you're trolling and bought nothing.

No one would accept the idea that "this is just how the phone is" and not attempt to exchange.

It felt extremely flimsy. It wouldn't surprise me to hear of Bendgate Part two. Just overall disappointed in the quality of this phone. Apple is better than this. At least they used to be. A phone shouldnt sound like it has a laptop fan in it.

Afraid if you did not like the 7 the 8 will also be a disappointment. Take care of that 5!

I dont really care what you think. I dont have time to play return roullette when other posts indicate a widespread issue. If I was trolling I would have stated I was going to android not back to a 5c. Nice try.

Out of curiosity why didn't you just exchange it for a different one to see if had the same issues instead of just flat out returning it? Since the issues you described seems to be in the minority you may have just gotten a bad unit.

The APPLE Store is a fairly long drive from where I live. After reading other complaints on these forums consistent with mine, I decided not to take a chance.

Far from wide spread. Please don't base actual, real problems based on the 20/30 so people on here, posting about an issue. That's not even a fraction of a percent in the grand scheme of things.

So, not wide spread.

Dude it is all over the internet and pretty much acknowledged by everyone but Apple. If you love the phone great. I don't and many others aren't satisfied either. Unless you own stock in Apple, the fact I returned mine shouldn't affect you in the least. Im back to enjoying my 5c and $800 richer. To each his own.

No I happened to post on here. Try googling "iphone 7" and "hissing" and come back and tell me im dreaming. I never said all units were affected. If yours isnt then good for you. Apple should at the very least acknowledge the issue because it is real.

This was the first iPhone that got hot during out of the box set up.

Not an issue and besides lack of supply doesn't give you much of an option. Don't get me wrong if it was more serious I have no problems returning it.

It could just be OCD. Even this Hissing I'm not paying any attention to.

Apple doesn't acknowledge minor issues that affect minuscule numbers of units. Your perception of it being "all over the internet" is ridiculous. Everything is "all over the internet" when you're looking for it.

[doublepost=1474999970][/doublepost]Ummmmm....nearly all reputable tech sites mention it. Every single display unit at my Apple Store has the hissing. It may be miniscule to Apple but not folks who pay hard earned cash for their phone.

The smartest thing you can do is just return it. Good job OP.
Don't end up going crazy like some folks here by swapping devices with the same known issue. Makes no sense to drive yourself crazy. Either go back to your old phone, wait for Apple to fix the problem or go with another phone.

That's what my thought was. I love Apple. I have a personal iphone and a work issued iphone. Both work flawlessly. Having said that, I am not such a fanboy that I will hide my head in the sand and scream Apple can do no wrong. These initial units, maybe not all, but a significant number have the hissing as well as other issues. Im sure Apple will quietly fix the issued in later production runs and ill try then. These people on here who act like you are committing blasphemy by pointing out defects with an Apple product are ridiculous.

Wake up AbSoluTc....
I don't mean to sound rude saying that but it is indeed all over the internet forums including Apple's own forum.
