I personally love my 17 air and theirs is reason why they have several models with different screen sizes, not everyone likes one certain model.

I like the way the air feels and the fact it’s lightweight and for me has a fantastic screen. I have seen folks knocking the battery life, but there is always a trade off for a lightweight and thin device and I am willing to accept those.

The battery last me the entire day, I don’t watch movies, play games and use mine for emails, social media and most importantly phone calls.

The camera is more the adequate for my needs and takes sharp pictures. Looking forward to the next OS update to see what they fix in IOS 28, so far I love the air.

Just to be clear, it's not the iPhone 17 Air

It's just the Air

I think there's a reason for that and I would not just assume that it's "the" form factor for all the iPhones moving forward anytime soon.

How I picture anyone complaining about a phone being too big.

I wonder what will they call the air next year? I mean if it ends up being a flop which i don’t think it will. Will they call it conAir? 😊
It’ll likely go the Nike naming route. Air Max, Air Zoom, Air Force and maybe, if we’re blessed by the best player of all time, we’ll will see an Air Jordan model. May the sneaker Gods have mercy on our “soles”.

He is asking why would anyone put their phones on FB marketplace at a loss when they are within the return period and can just return it for 100% of what they paid.

The answer is either the story is a lie or they are stolen.
You didn’t read my post, you can’t return here once opened if bought from retailer.

On the topic of return policies, around 2010-2014 or so, I used to buy my MBPs from J&R out of NY because they wouldn't charge Nevada sales tax, and they were usually $50-$100 off the Apple MSRP. But like many other retailers, they would not accept opened returns, not even for a restocking fee. After I received two MBPs with a couple dead pixels, I decided to just pay the MSRP plus sales tax to buy directly from Apple knowing I at least had that return window if I received something not to my liking (like the yellow-tinted screen lottery back in the day).

Didn't like it. Screen too big for me, missing features, would prefer to keep my money.
That's all.
Screen size, thickness, screen display all good. my issue is with the low volume telephone calls - need to use earpods or use speaker volume to hear decently. strangers audio volume on web sites is ok. at least compared to the iphone 26 i had.
probably this will make me return for either the 17 pro or regular 27
