Same here. I am trying to use it most of the time. The Hulu App without commercials is great as a replacement for my DVR (at least for those shows). I also signed up for CBS to test it since the current shows are not on Hulu. However, the cost ($6) is too much with commercials. If they could have an option to drop commercials like Hulu then I would prefer it over my DVR. I watch a number of News Show that I record first so even though they may come to the ATV I still think I would like some kind of DVR Service. Maybe cloud based. Anyway, love the direction.

Yes, Hulu has been great. My girlfriend lets me use her account. Between Hulu, Netflix, Plex, and a handful of TV apps (History, NatGeo, FX, Etc.), I can really see myself not having much of a need for my cable box. Unfortunately for now, we still need that account. Lastly, Sports is an issue for me. I feel like this will always be the thing that keeps me hanging on to cable. If the NFL offered a streaming package and Apple (or Comcast) came out with a streaming package, I would be thrilled with this product.

I'm within my 15 days at Best Buy and this thing just got reset reboxed ready to go. It has sim neat features but at the end of the day it feels like a newly skinned Apple TV 3 with little compelling in the app department.

The 3 does media just as well with AirPlay and Home Sharing to fill in the Plex/Air Video HD gap. When QVC is the most compelling app on a platform then it's not a good sign. I'm not sure productivity, news, magazine or Wii U level games will get here for a year. Maybe never due to the single user login and bad text entry interface.

Not letting me use my phone remote and the one button games is just being difficult to sell extra remotes. I think I only tried one game that would let a person turn the remote side ways.

It's still a hobby and it's very much a Field of Dreams product approach -- but they could have included some interesting 1st party stuff!

Well it's a good thing you were so patient... It's a very new field for Apple and giving up this quickly you're going to miss out on things down the road. I think there are many fun applications but it's going to take a little bit of time before that comes to pass.

I would recommend trying again in a few months.
