So in other words, you think it's OK to commit fraud as long as you're not committing fraud against the company you like. That's the same as saying "don't shoplift from Apple Stores, shoplift from Wal-Mart instead".

You are 100% mistaking what I am saying. I will repeat it again, it is fraud. If you reread this thread I was the first person to mention the word fraud. I have completely condemned the OP, I don't know how else to say that.

Why not just rent a computer. There are rent to own stores. If you end up renting it long enough, then you own it.

If the new model comes out soon, then turn in the one you are renting.

That's kind of a bad move, technically you could keep doing that, but Apple does keep track, and they could refuse to refund you any more because of what they deem excessive returns.

And other stores will do that as well such as BestBut and online stores like Amazon.

@IllIllIll hit the nail on the head, it is unethical, regardless of legality of it all, and that's the whole point of this. I am just appalled that the OP is so fine with it.
