I can’t comment on other people, but I started the thread because as far as I could tell, no one has talked about the issue I have, and I thought it might be of interest to some. Perhaps not to everyone, but thankfully you’re here to police the situation on their behalf. I didn’t have a question because, well, there isn’t one to ask - is that a requirement, officer Robert?

Apologies if my thread took the form of a rant. To me it wasn’t, just another eye roll moment in Apple’s slide toward proving their longtime detractors right. If you want a rant, ask me about iTunes.

It's very useful user experience and advice, as big corp guys (with big salaries) usually just assume "bigger is better", never put themselves in actual users' shoes...

Just like the newly released Macbook pro, finally Apple deleted so called "innovated" touch bar after 5 years, and restored all those HDMI/SD/Thunder ports/slots...

If you simply sink yourself into your comfortable HQ couch, you would end up losing your loyal fans sooner or later, just another NOKIA...

Plus, too often some element is under the curved part of the glass, making it difficult to see on an angle. Apparently margins are useful. Someone should tell Apple.
Yes, I´ve discovered that too. Espacially on modular duo by the time in top right corner. Something feels wrong.

While agree with all your points as it would probably be the same for me, the extended battery life would be nice just in case. For those heavy usage days. :)

It lasts about a day and a half of normal usage. Worth adding that normal usage for me involves a 90 minute run whilst streaming music and using an external hrm. It’s not as if it just scrapes though a day.

It’s interesting that nobody seems to have highlighted the same issues. It would be great if you could provide some more detail about the apps where you see the buttons on the edge ? I’ve certainly not experienced your issues with the stock apps, the buttons are correctly placed. ….. are you using third party apps ?

Same here. No issues with stock apps. The buttons have been enlarged for the bigger screen. Maybe some third-party apps need updating?

I think the biggest one is the alarm app. When it goes off, I usually hold the watch with my middle finger and thumb at the top and bottom, ad touch the snooze with my index finger - but my thumb now activates the off button before I can hit snooze. So, maybe as Steve would have said, I'm holding it wrong; but it's a habit that would be slow to break. I also find that when I want to press the crown that my middle finger will activate whatever button is on the opposite corner, which in my case is the calendar. That or it will start to bring down the notifications.

Something else that I've noticed is that the heart rate monitor on this watch isn't working nearly as well as my series 4, which is weird since I think it's supposed to be improved. But I'm getting about half as much heart data on my workouts as before, and for about half the workouts this week, it's said not enough data to display, which I think has only happened once or twice before.

Maybe I've just got a bad watch, but there's definitely something about the whole watch that seems a bit half baked to me - like it's a bit of a Frankenstein, sewn together from various ideas but without a lot of finesse as to how it all works together.

But my series 6 should show up today, so this one can go back tomorrow. Along with my phone which I dropped this morning and got my first cracked screen.

Must admit I’ve not faced those issues, I find I don’t need to hold the watch when touching the screen as it’s fixed to my wrist I simply touch the screen or crown ….. but obviously everyone is different. Good luck with the S6….. it’s also a great device but mine is long gone now.

Sounds like you’ve been reading too many conspiracy theories about the last minute production changes. 😉

I'm on the fence about returning my green aluminum series 7 as well kind of miss my graphite series 6 also the battery life is worse for me on my 7 then on my 6
