Seems like a very gimmicky feature to me. On current phones that have it, the charging power is so minimal it doesn’t have real world usage IMO.

Reverse output power on Huawei is 3W.

Watch only needs 1.5W. AirPods needs 1.1W.

That's plenty of real world usage.
 
Reverse wireless charging is a feature I don’t see myself using. I am disappointed that they are putting always on display on the watch, but not on the iPhone. This is a feature I like very much.
 
For case users, I found that wireless charging from the phone relies on a very thin or non-existent case being on the phone. Charging the phone on a pad works very well, even with many thicker cases. But charging devices off a phone back is very finicky with a case on.
