I just picked up the Avivo Rail Polycarbonate (with the black hatch jacket) from Amazon, which arrived yesterday.
To share some initial impressions:
I really like the fit and feel of this case. It's solidly constructed, it looks quality, it adds virtually no bulk, the buttons give great tactile feedback, and the hatch jacket provides a ton of grippiness to the phone.
Initially, I wanted to use it as a bumper configuration. However, I have the white iPhone 5, and the copper plating of the buttons clashes with the silver back. I just wasn't a fan of the look.
I love the hatch jacket though, so I'll use the case in that configuration. Unfortunately, I find that using the jacket does not accommodate a back protector (see wanting to use it as a bumper initially). I had a SGP protector on the back, and it added just enough thickness to the phone that when the jacket was on, the volume buttons on the rail would not appropriately align, giving little to no feedback when you press them. I tried it several times with the back protector on and off, and each time with the protector on, the volume buttons wouldn't line up correctly. It could be that the SGP protector is too thick. Other people may have better experiences with others.
Also, as others have noted, the ports are tight. I use Bose IE2 headphones, which generally fit in most cases, but will not fit with this case. The Apple earbuds fit fine.
That being said, I am really digging it as a full case.
