Currently on a back and forth with Chipolo support.
I ordered early March when (I just got my wallet back after losing it in the house for like a damn month lol) they were "in stock" and got a shipping notification two days after...

...but then 30 days later gave them an ultimatum of "tell me where they are or please cancel the order." No response but a different tracking appeared two days later and they were on my step shipped next day USPS.

Opened them up, SUPER easy pairing in the "find my" app. Seemed to work akin to any tile or airtag, more or less, and didn't notice I was hitting the button sitting on it, even since I keep it slid into the outside of my slim hard sided banded shut minimalist Ridge Wallet knockoff. So far so good!

Set my house as a safe zone for "alert me when I leave behind." because I'm always patting my pockets for keys and wallet and phone.

After about a week I noticed neither card spot would connect to make them beep. Laying on the table next to my phone. They also started saying "last seen" and a day or two ago in the "Find My..." app. Also the button stopped making any noises. The Find My app kept telling me to move around or Chipolo's app told me to move the cards around to wake them up. Annoying, because if I lost something I'd expect it to be stationary by default.

Also, the Chipolo app was never able to connect to either card. From the start.

So assuming they're dead or dying, Chipolo supoort wanted me to hold the buttons for 30 secs to make sure they're still active, apparently they are but, they don't do anything they're supposed to at the moment. ??‍♂️
Hoping they'll replace them.

Yikes. I've got 2 - the one I'm using has been fine, I ordered as soon as it was announced and had no trouble. I need to set the other one up for my son.

If I was buying again, I would likely go for the other rechargeable one that has been announced though.

I'll have to take a look at that one. Right now I'm in "did you try turning off your phone? bluetooth? removing the card and adding it again? it may be a dropped bluetooth connection" customer support email exchange limbo.

I'm sure after all this back and forth, the issue will lie with the bluetooth on my thousand dollar phone and not the $35 piece of flat plastic. ?
