Hi! I thought I'd put all the review links for my Cinder reviews in one place. Once I got this last sample, I was very impressed with the performance of the Cinder. Excellent product--really lovely curved edges and very thin.

I ran up against the attachment limit in the previous post: here are a few more pics of the Cinder vs the Imos. In all of these, the Imos is on my iPhone 6 Plus, while the Cinder is an iPhone 6, so I think the comparison is even more marked than it would otherwise be. However, the Cinder is still clearly thinner and its edges have a better curve, in my opinion. Thanks!

Based on ease of installation, how does it go ?
Do you need to use a lot of the pen method to get rid of the bubbles ?

Possible to take it off from the phone B and show the Back side of the screen protector after reusing it?
You mentioned that there are already fibers behind. Would like to know what to expect about the reusability claim.

Thanks Kristin

Thanks! The Cinder is on the iPhone 6 and the Imos is on the iPhone 6 Plus, and there are also captions underneath the pictures indicating which one is which...

Thanks Kristin

This Cinder sample went on very easily--the first time I took it off and reapplied it there were no bubbles requiring pen cap action--it took maybe 3 to 4 minutes of gentle pressing and rubbing and it was on. The second reinstallation was also easy, but had a small bubble that required minor pen cap work--nothing big, just a few minutes. Overall, I was very impressed with the ease of installation of this Cinder sample. The first sample they sent me was not this way and had significant adhesive issues resulting in much bubble misery. It was an early pre-production sample, though, and they seem to have fixed that problem entirely.

As for reusability, I'm pretty impressed that you can reuse it at all, but I think the cleanliness of your work area is pretty crucial to its success. The fibers are my fault--they appeared after the first reinstall. Obviously they either were in the air and got stuck onto the screen protector when I took it off the phone, or they had settled onto the phone before I reapplied. When I took the screen protector off for the transfer to 'phone B', the errant fibers came along with it and were transferred onto phone B when I put the screen protector on it. Cupert Technology also claims that you can rinse and reuse the Cinder, and perhaps that would get rid of those pesky fibers, but I can't see how you could manage to dry the Cinder without getting more dust on it as it dries. At any rate, as 'phone B' that the Cinder is currently on belongs to my teenage daughter, I think she would be less than thrilled about your proposed experiment as I think the potential of getting more fibers or dust stuck on it by taking it off and holding it adhesive side up while I take pictures is high :)

Perhaps the folks from Cupert Technology will give us more information on how the washing/drying works and how many times a Cinder can reasonably be expected to be able to be successfully reapplied?

really nice, thank you for the reviews, now I could sit tight and wait for my cinder.:D:D

Hi all! I'm a little confused because it's my first time on Indiegogo. It says that you need to add $5 more for shipping, do you do that by selecting two separate perks, one for the product and the other for the shipping? Sorry for the long question but thanks!

Select your $25 perk. On the next screen look for the "Custom" additional pledge amount. Type in $5

Thanks for the reviews. Does anybody know if those cheap clear TPU cases work as well with the CINDER?

Why are there no samples / reviews of a white CINDER yet?

where is the first topic of Cinder, with our and Cupert posts? I can't find it now... :(

It was removed. More than likely reported by someone in the Halo Back thread, which was a completely different issue. It's a shame, but that's the way it goes.

At least we have Kristin's review and her future reviews.

Since the other post was removed could someone answer me this question? I asked on the other post and Cupert Tech responded but I didn't get to see it since it was removed.

I purchased the Bonus Early Bird for 25$ on the Indiegogo site. I've never used Indiegogo though, did that donate to their campaign and reserve me one of the screen protectors? I'm in the continental US and Indiegogo is ridiculously confusing to use haha.

You'll have to buy a $5 perk for shipping as well.

Can I just go back and add that now?

Yes. Go back and just buy the 5 USD perk.

What happened to the Cinder thread?

Are all companies/reviews are blocked now? If so, I would have prefered it to close the old thread, but leave all the good input. There could have been a reason mentioned in a comment.

where is Cupert tech? is it possible to create a new thread about Cinder, just to keep in touch with him?

I think if you have questions about the Cinder screen protector for Cupert Tech, you can email them at sales@cupert.com. Thanks!

How come Apple doesn't make glass screen protectors for their phones? I bet if they made a good one and charged £50/$75 it would sell like hot cakes.

Because then less people would be coming back for screen repairs.

Maybe because that's almost the cost of AppleCare?
