I just assume that people with these types of cases don't mount their phones when they drive?
One of the reasons i buy this type of case is because i do mount my phone when i drive. The inner case is magnetic, so you can remove it in half a second and just stick it in your dashboard mount. Also with the inner case having a metal plate in it it is also compatible with magnetic dashboard mounts, you get the best of both worlds with these type of cases.

Also when i go running i can just put the inner case in my waist belt mounted case holder, just like i can with any other case.

In that case I might look into these since I use a magnetic mount

Hi there- I have a Doc Artisan Wallet Case (non-sport) that I purchased for my IP6s+. I seem to be getting repeatable artifacts/glare/washed out look when using the case. Anyone else having this problem? Upon emailing Doc A in regards to a bit of a lack of symmetry and irregularities in the cut-outs, I received a response that said, "Hand-Crafted Sean." That was it. Kind of a jackass response. I'm not new to hand crafted items, but a straight line isn't toomuch to ask...ugh. See pic with and without.

Yes Doc Artisan definitely have an attitude problem, that was a crap answer the gave you.

Their online chat is never working, i had to bug them with emails to get an answer out of them last week, and when they did answer i got a 5 word response, which was very annoying as the tiny answer they did give me was wrong anyway.

I think this is why they don't sell on Amazon, because with their attitude to customers they would end up getting 1 and 2 star reviews when their products probably deserve more, cant understand what their problem is towards customers.

Z3man, thank you for the response! I totally agree. I didn't know if it was just me but you're exactly right. Their emails are short and a bit passive aggressive. I'm afraid to return it as I don't want to get the run around and wait forever for a refund :(. Maybe I can press the camera cut-out to make it a bit flatter and straight? Use a sharpie along the inside rim? All stuff we should have to do after paying this much for a case.

Ah, definitely sucks to hear that, I didn't notice any flaring in my unit. It's definitely a problem on their end, but I think asking for a replacement couldn't hurt, if you haven't asked already.

So sorry to hear about your issue with the case. It certainly sounds as if you got a defective model, and my guess is that you must have caught their customer service folks at a bad time or something. If you look at the customer reviews posted on their website, they are overwhelmingly positive in regard to both the products and the customer service. I really recommend you contact Doc Artisan again and explain your issue to them further. Again, you shouldn't have to be the one reaching out again, but it can't hurt to give them another chance...

Good luck!!

Kristin
