This is next level. Available in the UK?
I’ve been sleeping on a simpler version made by a different company, they’re now advertising it for sale in the U.K.:
I’ve got the Chilipad version, which has a simple remote control, not the recently released Ooler which has a smartphone app. Both work using a cooled (or heated) pad on top of your normal mattress.

I have this mattress, I love it and hate it, why do I love it? I cannot overstate how much better I sleep thanks to the temperature regulation features, I don't wake up in the middle of the night anymore soaked in sweat.

But why do I hate it? because it's so good I don't think I can live without it ever again, when I travel and I sleep in other beds I find myself missing my Pod Pro so much hahaha 10/10 would recommend, send me a message if you want a 200USD discount code.

As mentioned above, there's no reason why this couldn't be implemented with BT and/or minimum manual control. The idea that they would go through all the expense of having server-side software running to operate a "smart" bed, connected via wifi, smells fishy (and not too bright), to me.
it learns over time what makes you sleep better, I wouldn't like keeping track of this all year long

I’m just wondering how can you qualify yourself as a Pro user of a mattress?

This idea of calling whatever is high end as “Pro” has to come to an end...
I've had both the original "The Pod" and I upgraded to the "Pod Pro", they do have a lot of differences, for instance, the Pod Pro is way more quiet, and the temperature adjustments are way more subtle

The BedJet system provides a far cheaper means of heating and cooling a bed. It even provides a 2-zone system for couples that like different temperatures. Bedjet is air-based system -- far safer than using water.

Did the reviewers look at existing systems in their evaluation of this more expensive and untested tech? Nope. :(
Well as someone who has used both a BedJet and Pod Pro, I can tell you the Pod Pro is significantly better

So, a BT smart phone can't track sleep on-device? There has to be an App that calls home in order to function? I'm seriously doubting that, but obviously I could be mistaken. I'd guess they're selling the sleep data they collect without your consent, and charging you upwards of $3k for the privilege. "Why not? Everyone else is doing it." <- Catch phrase for the current millennium. /s

As others have said, the cloud connectivity is a dealbreaker. Bummer, since I already sent a text to my partner and said “we must get this.”

I like to track my sleep pattern, so this is a cool mattress. The meds I take can give me night sweats. My next mattress will be able to adjust the heat, so I could avoid waking up soaking wet.

Lots of these things sound really cool, and they probably help some people. But I already feel overwhelmed with technology. Sometimes, I feel guilty wearing my Apple Watch instead of sticking with my trusty old watch I used to wear before, that lasted years with no charging and was waterproof.

I miss the early 90’s... enough technology to make life easy, but not too much to make your head explode.

At first I thought oh here we go, another silly smart product that doesn't need to be smart... but cooling in a mattress? That sounds incredible for hot summer nights when all you do is sweat all night.

This article read more like 'War and Peace' but I still liked the content.

I have two Tempur-Pedic Grands, and they were $3,000 each 18+ years ago. My king-size version is now worn out. The Queen is only used for occasional guests. I'm in the market for a new mattress because I have significant medical issues.

I've been considering the 'Purple' because I have their smaller pads and they feel great. They don't sag after extended use. This particular bed seems a bit risky considering the limited warranty on the module. While I didn't read every word; I don't recall reading any comments about possible noise issues. Overall, I'm impressed although I would prefer a more passive design.

Mitchell, do yourself a favor and do an AMZ search for Cable Box! You can run a slim extension cable from your socket to the box, and put all the power bricks and most of that cabling in the box. Will spruce up the rest of your bedroom, that looks so nice apart from that mess of bricks and wires :)

As for everyone else, if you can't afford $3000 mattresses, investigate
- nice sheeting. Expensive sheets (very fine threads, very thick are what matters IMHO. But not satin, that's just awful in terms of slipperiness) seem pointless till you try them. Unfortunately they're often sold starched, so they will feel different, and much less nice, in the department store than in real life. A female friend forced me to get these and I am so glad she did so. I got the Macy's 1000 thread count ones. Probably will be on sale on Black Friday...

- a foam topper. This makes your bed soft, but not saggy and doesn't "suck you in". Main thing to remember is that when you sleep you are spread over a large area, when you sit, you are spread over a small area. Meaning if you get a thick one on the assumption that that's more luxurious, main thing is you sink deep into it when you sit reading... IMHO even 2" is thicker than ideal; I'd go for 1.5" or so. IMHO the expensive ones add nothing to the value --- but then my room is a nice temp, so I don't need cooling gel and copper infusions and suchlike! Likewise I've seen no value in the ones with patterns and zones.
You can get a cheap one in twin at Target for like $25 or less. Get a cheap one, try it, and if you like it get a slightly nicer correctly sized one. But don't think that "if 1.5" is great, 2 or 3" will be even better!" Like I said, that doesn't work unless you have specific needs; you just land up sinking deep in foam while reading :-(

- fitted sheet clips. Super cheap, work so well! You don't realize how much you hated your fitted sheets moving over time and not lining up correctly till you start using these.

- a weighted blanket. Maybe not for everyone, but most people who have tried them seem to like them more than they expected. You don't need massive weight, it's not a competition! Again, get a super cheap one, see if you like it, and then if necessary get one that's slightly nicer and a better size match for your needs.

My wife and I have the king size Pod Pro and we love it. You know that feeling when you first crawl into bed on a hot summer night and the sheets are cool? Yeah, imagine that except all night long. I had the cold set to max when we first got it in the summer and actually had to turn it up. Now, I look forward getting in to bed as the weather cools as I have it set to warm.

I don't really use the health tracking features as I feel they're a bit gimmicky and don't offer me much but the mattress itself is comfortable and the temperature control is a game changer.

The hub itself is louder than I thought it would be but I've found it's noisy when cooling. When my wife and I both have our sides set to warm you can't even hear it running.
