How long do you guys wait after you installed it before you try on any cases etc? 1 hour?

Thanks!

You're welcome and welcome to the bandwagon! :D##

I love this SP for the very reasons you mentioned. I especially like how thin it is and the smooth curved edges you mentioned. Plus it's a very smooth glass and easy to clean.

Unlike the SPs that are 0.33 mm and thicker, you're not pushing down into the home button. This is a great SP. Paired with a case that has a nice lip protection and you have a great combo!

I'd been using plastic ones for so long now that I forgot just how nice glass really feels!

I put my CandyShell Grip right on after installing it. You can't get any tighter fit than the CS Grip and it worked just fine.

This isn't edge to edge.

I'll definitely be trying this on the 6s when it comes out. For now I'm using a Mime Feather+ which is nice. The Benks looks to have a smoother curve on the edges. Can anyone confirm that?

Hey,

How did you install yours? Been doing these for years and I'm still pretty lousy at it. I'm super OCD about SP, if it's not on perfect it drives me insane until I get it right.

I used the hinge method. http://lifehacker.com/5927704/apply-a-screen-protector-perfectly-every-time-with-the-hinge-method

Like you, I'm not that good at installing SPs. This may be the best install I've completed. I used the blue antistatic tape included and had a completely dust free install. Might be first time that's ever happened. Haha!

I'd recommend hinge too. Most glass protectors are thick enough that you can wing it, but this one is so thin, it's like a plastic install.

This may be a good solution for my wife who need a SP. Thin and invisible likes plastic one.

I mounted one on my wife's iPhone 6. This IS a nice SP, far better looking than the Zagg glass one. The thinness is key to making it look less obvious.

Thanks for the overview.

Anyone with this notice a rainbow like light reflection from the screen running vertically on one side?? It's especially noticeable when the turned-on screen is on a lighter color or white page. No matter how perfectly I have the SP aligned, I can't keep it happening from one side or the other. It seems that the glass needs to be just ever so slightly wider. Just curious if you guys have experienced this, it's super annoying!

I've noticed that on the Zagg glass I had on and now the TA glass. I think it's because of the curved screen and the way the screen protector lays on it.

I had to really really look to see this very sight prismatic affect. Not something one would see actually using the phone instead of staring at it. Seeing the extra glass of the screen protector is more bothersome. ;-)

It's a natural prism affect from the curved edge of the SP. just physics.

I sent my phone in for service and I didn't remove my protector. They're replacing the phone, so my protector won't be coming back. I'm going to install a Tech Armor ballistic glass protector for the time being.

Why?

Why not the Benks?

I love the Benks thin, but I have the TA laying around new in box. I'll use that one temporarily.

I'm following CINDER's progress for now. That one really interests me.

I know. I'm very interested in the Cinder as well. Like the Imos, but at almost a third of the thickness? Wow!

I agree! 0.55 mm is just to thick for my liking.

I also like that they claim it's reusable. That tells me the adhesive they use isn't aggressive. If all they promise works out, it will be a very nice product!

Wow, there's a lot money being spent on SP'ers.

AppleCare+ Is a cheaper alternative and covers more iPhone failures.

Well, so how would the re-usable part work? Maybe I'm super-paranoid, but I'd be afraid that in the time when it's not on my iPhone, the screen protector will get dirt or dust on it. Then, when I put it back on my iPhone, the dirt and dust will get trapped there, potentially scratching my screen, right? Or am I missing a step somewhere?

Not sure. I'm asking that question in the thread. :)

It will be good to know the answer. I have several undamaged glass screen protectors that I have carefully taken off my phone, and put carefully away, but I can't see how I could manage to reinstall them.

Looking forward to finding out more about Cinder!

Can someone post pictures of what this looks like on a space grey iphone 6? Even though it is thin, it looks so obvious on the white. I'm hoping it doesn't look that way on the black.

I need a new screen protector. I want to do glass but if even if this ultra thin one is going to be too obvious I don't want one.

I have apple care so I can just keep using the PET films if I need to.

The best I could do. The case is a Spigen Neo hybrid EX bumper.
