This bad boy just came today in the mail, black, shiny, and boy is it sleek. I had the power support hard case (the one that comes with 2 screen protectors) and the Incase slider, both for the 3g before I ordered this. It comes with all sorts of presents for the children, including a little stand, a dock adapter, 2 screen protectors (which I didn't use because I already have one on), and 2 skin membranes.

Putting it on took a few minutes because I didn't want to break anything or scratch my phone, but it is quite simple. Simply put the little iPhone condom over the phone, nice and tight so your 3g stays clear of any unwanted pregnancies, then add the "H" frame over the jimmy hat...then the other locking piece and bam...you have one nice little case. It feels very light and not bulky at all. I have done my research on cases, and for some unknown reason I have acquired a fetish looking at different cases and reading reviews about the best ones. You may call me weird, but I am touching the iPhone more then my girlfriend and on some special cases more then I touch myself, so I might as well make sure it is secure in case I drop it.

Yes I signed up just to write this review after being a perverse voyeur on these forums for awhile now, but I am no way affiliated with my fathers company Switcheasy. I recommend this case hands down, but I still have to mess with it for awhile. If there were any cons it would be that, at first the plastic feels a little flimsy..but after a few minutes you realize that everything is ok with life. The membrane covers the volume button, and the sleep button, and seems to work great thus far. The real test comes tomorrow when I wake up and do jumping jacks for no apparent reason. Here are some pictures from my broken camera:

I'm sold

I bought the rebel and returned it. Saggy bottom condom is no good. :p

Anyway, this looks to be a real winner here. May eve be better than the slider. The slider has little gaps of space where the lens and ringer switch area. This NEO looks to be a very nice tight fit.

How much bigger is this case comparing to Incase Slider?

I hesitated to get it because there's just so many layers with the case.

it'll be great if you could post a picture of them side by side.

Thanks for the review...one of the funniest posts I've read. Gives me an idea of what to look forward to when mine arrives later this week.

Unfortunately I took the Slider back to the apple store because I only had 2 weeks to return it. But the Neo capsule is less bulky then the slider..and in a weird way when you get used to it, doesn't even look like a case because it looks so natural. I can say this with confidence, this by far the best case I have seen so far. I have tried several others on at the apple store, and played around with a few my friends had on theirs....None compare.

Here are my initial impressions of the Neo.

First, putting on the case is a little more difficult than the Rebel. There is a reason why they give 2 silicone membranes, it's feels very easy to over stretch and tear. Take your time and adjust the membrane to cover all the buttons, speaker holes, etc. Next, take your time to snap on the "H"and "I" pieces. Again, its very easy for these plastic pieces to pinch and pull the membrane if not aligned correctly.

Anyways, once you finish putting on the case, it looks extremely good. The chrome edges are completely covered. There are no saggy bottoms or edges to worry about. The "I" plastic is matte and feels smooth, but is flexible. The "H" plastic is similar to the Rebel spine piece, except I think it is slightly more scratch resistant (I won't completely know until a few days of use).

In terms of size, it is almost exactly the same as the Rebel. All the buttons are easy to reach and respond well. The included headphone plug is nice, however, once you put it in, it's a little difficult to pull out. One issue about the case is that it won't sit flush on a flat surface. The logo on the back is slightly raised, so the phone will always balance on it.

Overall, I highly recommend this case. If you like the Rebel, you will probably love the Neo. It's definitely the best case I've used so far.

Also just ordered mine yesterday. Very impressed with the quick follow-up email confirming the order and shipment. Should be here by Friday. Only $3 shipping and they actually send it out promptly!

Based on the review so far I will be happy. Too bad iSkin couldn't get their Fuze2 out in a timely manner - this product may eat their sales.

If someone bought the white version of the neo, could you please post a review and pics as well? I have a white iphone but I'm thinking if I'll get the black (since it has a shiny effect to it) or stay with the white neo. Thanks!

I didnt like embossed logo so I went ahead with the rebel arctic/artic. Am waiting its arrival!

To anyone who owns this case, any idea if it will fit with a best skin ever on that back of the phone?

I ordered the Rebel, and 2 days later I saw the Neo, and just placed the order for the Neo as well. The Rebel hasn't even arrived yet, but I can already tell I'll like the Neo better.

Does the case slip in and out of a pocket easily? Switcheasy says the Rebel does, but wanted to know from your experience on the Neo.

I have no issues taking it in and out of the pocket. Also, there does seem to be a scratch resistant coating around the glossy plastic pieces (I have been using the black version. I do not know if this is true for the white version as well). So far, I have not seen a single scratch from moderate use.

Hey Cross2,

Based on what I see on your pic, you have the Black Neo on your White iPhone? Does it cover entirely all the "white" shades of your phone in order to be seen as black? (except for the camera hole that I spotted)

Oh I'm using the black iPhone. Although, on a white iPhone, some areas that may expose the white color are the camera hole, silent switch, and speaker/mic area, everything else is covered.

The reviewer of this case on Youtube, Ayobonus, seems to think this case would even work without the silicon. Good news for people like me who have a skin on the back of the case.

I just ordered mine and I actually emailed Zoltan about new colors and he said that they haven't received any official word yet but he thinks there will be.

Anyone know how this compares to the Contour Flick? I love the thinness of my case but it's getting pretty scratched up and the bottom piece is a bit loose now.
