Don't know if this has been covered before, but I recieved my neo last night, and was quite surprised to find that a lot of the headphone cables I use don't fit with this case. Actual headphones seem to work okay, but I have an aux cable for my car and home stereo. Neither fit. It looks like I should be able to just round out the hole a little bigger with a dremel and make it work.

Other than that, great case.

Junk....don't bother with this case

This is the biggest piece of junk and Switcheasy has the worst customer service period. After owning this case for a month, the middle piece began to chip off and eventually broke for good, all from sliding the phone in and out of my pocket. I emailed twice before receiving a response. He agreed to send me a new piece but after questioning him why the tracking # said it was being shipped to IL instead of CA, he said "hopefully it will get there." Well, it never did. Here are pics of the damaged phone: http://gallery.me.com/cinemachine#100130

How did it break? Was it from repeatedly taking the case off and putting it back on? Did that happen the first time you put it on? Will this happen the first time I put the case on?

Anyone else have any recent experiences with this case?

You're better off with an Incase slider. Best case IMO.

I've read that the Slider scratches the phone.

I don't like the giant 'incase' logo on the back.

I'm leaning towards the iFrogz Luxe.

as someone that has owned incase sliders before and currenly, I can say that they don't scratch. Also the logo is a lot smaller than the circular lock mechanism on the ifrogz case. Just my opinion.

I like how the circular lock mechanism on the iFrogz looks. It's an interesting design.

Thanks for the info about the incase Slider not scratching. I'll do a little further research before I buy.

Mine hasn't chipped or anything, though there are stain problems on the white Neo and based on the people posting about the chips/cracks on the black, I'd say some do get those kinds of dud cases. I have both black and white, right now black used more often.

i love it

ive used the capsule neo case for several months now and i love it, i havent had any problems with chipping or breakage my only problem with it is that the thin silicone cover they give you doesnt fit the way they advertise, it should completely cover the back around over the bezel but it doesnt other than that its great

Neo vs otterbox

I already have the otterbox defender which is the mother of all cases, but its becoming annoying. Never really minded the bulk but whenever i take it out of the case the iphone 3gs is just so sexy and i dont want to put it back in. So im looking for something smaller, with great protection and will come out ofmy pocket with ease.

My questions to those of you who have the capsule neo or rebel, which is better on protection and do either actually slip in and out of your pocket easily? The otterbox defender has an outside layer of thick silicon and gets stuck and collets lint/everything.

Thanks!!!

White CapsuleNeo looks terrible

I got a black CapsuleNeo and really like it's durability and sleek design. I didn't like that the raised dot on the back prevents it from lying flat face-up, but I find myself placing the phone face-down now, which may be better for screen safety, given my inherent tendency to break things.

I got a white CapsuleNeo for my girlfriend's iPhone, and the case looks terrible. The clear Lexan piece looks cool, but teh white plastic back clip has quicly become gray and dirty with regular use and looks terrible. I tried to request a clear or black back clip and SwitchEasy told me they would only send a replacement white back clip.

Recommendation: don't buy the white CapsuleNeo, unless they redesign the back clip.
