To all the reviewers: Great pics and good reviews.

I'm glad that I didn't wait to buy this case for my iP4. It looks bulky. The cutout for the volume controls and power button: why'd they wrap the cutouts around the back? Horrible.

I was a huge proponent of the 3GS version (I had newest version with the clear logo film). I loved that case, and the holster was awesome for gym use.

I will not be getting this case. Too bad, their 3GS case was the ****.

Agree 100% with everything you said. I'm thinking about sending mine back but I may just keep it as a spare (15-25% restocking fee plus return shipping costs). They didn't need to radically change the design like this. We all know the case had to be more square but it's too thick and those cutouts are just ugly. The material is the best though - by far my favorite material of any case I've ever used.

Agreed, the material they use is amazing. My 3GS case looked brand new when I sold it along with my 3GS after 9-ish months of use. My 3GS didn't have a single scratch on the back, and the bezel was virtually scratch-free (except for at the bottom, due to me docking my iPhone before bed in the dark on my Logitech alarm clock:p).

I'm really confused as to why they went thicker.

Too bad you didn't wait until Amazon got them in stock (I see they don't have any yet, but list them as soon to be available). Their return policy is awesome.

Live and learn, right? I wanted to take advantage of the 10% off promo and I figured I was safe ordering from them since I loved the old version so much. Now I'm using my Speck Candyshell and I have a Pixelskin HD coming via the free case program. Don't really need three cases I guess so this thing is going back.

I'm really really curious to see if the otterbox commuter would work with the holster in this setup. I be the demensions are virtually identical. I used a seidio holster made for the innocase with my Bold II and the OB commuter and it was a PERFECT setup. Just need someone to confirm it before I go spending the money :)

Great pics, Goldor! Thanks for posting them...I kind of like the sapphire blue color.

I agree that there must be some sort of design issue with the top of the case that is causing the bubble to appear. At first I figured it was just that my screen protector wasn't centered properly, but after seeing your pics, I'm not so sure. It seems rather odd that our bubbles are in the exact same location.

Seeing how they are located at the same spot, it just can't be a coincidence. Perhaps other users that have installed protective films and the Innocase could confirm wether they have a bubble like us or not?

I wasn't sure how Sapphire Blue would turn out when I ordered it. I don't really trust screenshots on the internet to give me a feel of what something looks like in reality. I figured it couldn't be that bad and took the chance. Turns out that it is very, very nice in person. It's sharp and good looking.

In my opinion I still think the bumper is the best solution for a case right now. I have purchased 5 other cases and there is a issue with all of them and I always go back to the bumper. I wish someone could make a decent case! After seeing the pictures of this one I know for sure not to buy so thanks for saving me some money.

Finally got my Burgandy Innocase Surface in the mail today. Case has a great feel. I've owned many Seidio cases so I know what to expect and I wasn't disappointed. One of the biggest selling points to me is the holster. No holster comes anywhere near the Seidio clip when it comes to securing your phone. I have a very active job and I need something that is going to take some abuse and not drop my phone on the ground. Another reason I got this was in anticipation of the Innocase Rugged to be released soon. It's basically like the Otterbox Defender but way better. Now that I have this case all I have to do is purchase the Rugged case add-on pack when it's released and I'm all set. Anyway, on to the pics. Not the best quality but good enough.

BTW, I'm using a Zagg InvisibleShield with this case, (front and rear). I chewed up the IS a tiny bit on the left side of the screen but it's covered by the case. Had I been a little bit more careful putting the new case on, it would have been fine. No bubbles.

I have the Seidio with the holster and think it's a great case/holster combo.

The one issue I have had is that the two halves of the case have occassionally become unsnapped and when you pull the phone from the holster you get the top half of the case, but not the phone. This seems weird based on others saying they have a hard time getting the two halves apart. Any suggestions other than gluing the two halves together?

As a huge fan and user of previous Innocases, I patiently awaited the release of this one for IP4. All I have to say is, Seidio, what the hell happened? This case is so much bulkier and awkward from your previous iterations.

I also have the screen protector bubble. Exact same place as the others. Disappointed.

Any of you previous Innocase lovers find a better replacement out there?

My innocase/holster combo was delivered this morning and I'm liking it so far. I made the mistake of originally buying the massive brick known as the otterbox defender, so in comparison this case doesn't seem bulky to me at all. The holster is also MUCH better than the ridiculously large otterbox holster.

All in all, I'm pleased so far.

I've been really looking for a holster to go along with my Speck Pixelskin HD. Would somebody know if the Pixelskin would fit in this holster?

How is the rugged case an "add on" pack? It uses a different system totally. Or at least it did for the 3G/3GS. It uses a modified Innocase 360 for the inner case to which the exterior case surrounds.

So I just received my innocase / holster a few days ago. As a 2nd time buyer, I cant say I'm 100% pleased. The bottom pieces has the slightest of wiggle room to it, unlike the 3G innocase I had. Is it just mine or does anyone else's have a tiny bit of wiggle room?

Maybe adding a screen protector would help steady the wiggle?

killercactii, the bottom piece of my case has a little wiggle room too. So far, it doesn't seem like it will cause the case to come apart on its own, but it does feel like it is more loose than it should be.

Maybe this was done to correct an issue that caused some of the earlier cases to be difficult to remove?

I also have a slight wiggle room with my case, which I find somewhat unpleasant when I hold it in a way to notice it. Thankfully, my normal way of holding the phone "feels" okay. Just when I grab only the bottom part can I notice something.

And upon further investigation, I found that there is a notch that creates the bubble on the top of the screen protection. I tried to gently scrape it off, to no avail. I'll just have to get used to the bubble I guess.

I've also confirmed this with Seidio's rep that manages their Facebook page. There will be an add-on pack that includes everything but the inner case when the Rugged is finally released. This is why I went ahead and ordered the Surface now.

I was suprised too. I had a few different Surface II's for my 3GS along with the Rugged. The 3GS Rugged's inner case definitely was not the standard Surface II. I like the new design since now I'll be able to have something other than black for my inner case when I'm not at work and don't need the extra protection of the Rugged. BTW, I've been harping on the Seidio rep on Facebook about releasing the Rugged's exoskeleton in different colors too. Hopefully they'll listen. ;)

Oh crap! If that's the case, that's cool as hell. I might go ahead and get the Surface as well then. Yeah, with the 3G/3GS, the Rugged inner case wasn't the regular Surface, as they called it the Innocase 360. And the exoskeleton in different colors is definitely a great idea.

Update

After using my Innocase for a while now, I'm starting to get concerned about the fit of the case. I've noticed a very slight side-to-side play with the top portion of the case. When I pick up the case, sometimes I can feel the two sides squeeze together a little. The wiggle on the bottom part of the case also seems to have gotten a little worse, and the case doesn't lock into place as securely as it did when it was new. It still may not come apart accidentally, but it takes very little effort to take the bottom piece off. I have no doubt that any drop would make the bottom piece pop off.

I'm starting to get a little disappointed in this case. It's not quite the quality that I've come to expect from Seidio.

Has anyone else noticed their Innocase start to fit worse with time?

Just got my Surface, and it too has a LOT of play on a bare iPhone 4. This is the loosest Seidio case I've ever owned. I feel that in a drop, the case is so lose that it could (and would) come apart. But...upon thinking about it, I decided to try an experiment. I installed a SGP Matte back skin/shield, and a Steinheil screen protector, and the case still installs fine. In fact, with front and back shields on the phone, the case fits snug (but not too snug) and feels great. None of the loose fit is there anymore. I'm not sure if they designed it this way, but this is a very nice side effect of the loose design, as I don't like going without protective skins/shields on my phone.

Don't know if you've seen it yet, but Seidio is now taking orders for the Rugged case and Rugged add-on case for the Surface. Just ordered mine!

Me too. Got the email announcing the release at 4:30. Got my order confirmation email at 7pm. Too busy to place the order during the last couple hours of work. Had to wait until I got off. :)

So I was just having a look at the pictures of the Rugged on Seidio's website. Looks awesome and a lot less bulky than the 3GS version. Hopefully this is just a prototype or something but does anybody else see something wrong with this picture?
