Did they send you one for the 6 plus? I thought your review was for the 6
They sent both, which was very nice. I thought I'd hold off on reviewing the 6 Plus until I heard back from them regarding the Control Center issue. Unfortunately, I haven't heard anything yet...

White and grey. I really like it, even with the Control Center frustration. I hope I hear back from Thule soon regarding this issue. I want to give the Atmos X4 the review it deserves.

Have you heard back from Thule yet regarding this issue?

Well, here's my review for the Thule Atmos X4 for the iPhone 6 Plus. This time you get to see it in white/grey!

Thanks!

Kristin
Great review. I actually had to return the Thule Atmos X3 because the opening for the Lightning connector was too small for my dock and car charger. I did like the x3 and would of kept it if the opening was bigger. Glad to see the openings are bigger with the X4. With the X4, I won't be using the built in screen protector. You said that it works fine without out it. Is the bumper around the screen raised up a little so I put my phone face down and not worry about it? Anyway can show us pictures of the case on the iPhone 6 Plus without the built in screen protector?

Anyone had any luck finding these at Best Buy?
Was at Best Buy and REI today and both don't have the 4 yet. Asked both and they both said they expect them in August or possibly earlier. I think they don't really know yet when they are getting it. They said they are definitely getting it though.

In comparison to the x3, I think the lip is a little higher (assuming you are using it without the screen protector--if you are using it with the built in screen protector, the lip is quite high) on the X4. The generous port openings are a pleasure to use and I really like the easy to press buttons and the enhanced grip. I actually really like the built in screen protector, even with the major control center issue, but I will be taking it off my 6 Plus in about a week as I have to test the new iLoome ScreenMate. I'll take a picture of the Atmos X4 minus its screen protector then...

Hey- new to this site. Just wanted to see if there was an update on the Thule Atmos X4 faceplate redesign issue? I have been following the thread and noticed that the pictures currently on Thule's website shows the new design with the raised area around the home button, which is assumed to allow easier access to the control panel on the phone. I ordered the x4 last week, thinking I would be getting the new design since it is advertised on their website. I received it in the mail today and received the old design. Even though I ordered it directly from Thule's website, they outsourced it to the nearest retailer that sells the case. I called them and they were surprised- they were not aware that there was a difference. They said they "just got the shipment in last week" and were upset with their Thule representative for not communicating any changes in the design with them. All they could do was offer me a refund gave me Thule's customer service number. I just called Thule customer service and they were puzzled- obviously they not aware of the redesign either. All they can offer is to try to get in touch with a Thule product representative and see if he/she has any insight on the new design and when it will be available for purchase. This is my first time ordering from Thule and it's kind of frustrating seeing as how no one really knows what's going on. If anyone has an update, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

I would truly love an update as well. I let the marketing guy at Thule who sent me out my review sample know about the issue, and he said he would pass my concerns along to the product rep, but I haven't heard anything more about it from them. It certainly seems as if they have an updated design--the pictures on Thule's website would definitely seem to indicate that--but there is always the possibility that we have it wrong. Maybe the version with the cutout around the home button was abandoned for some reason--maybe it provided less protection? Just speculating here...although if I had a choice to have easier Control Center swipe access and only 4x screen impact protection as opposed to the 5x it has now, I'd go with the lesser amount of screen protection. Overall, I still think it is a great case, however.

I heard back from the store that shipped the case to me. They said they spoke to their Thule representative and he said
"...there *was* a mid-stream change in the cases, but that it was done quietly, and no info was sent to anyone about it." So no word on how to get the new case design. If anyone knows please let me know. Thanks.

Interesting! Thanks so much for the update. I'll try to check with my Thule guy again and see if he has heard anything more about this.

I'm very interested in the X4, but with the revised protector that fixes the control center issue.

It's a great case design other than that one glaring error--I can't believe that Thule wouldn't fix such an obvious flaw. Hopefully the fix will come quickly!

Interestingly the x3 are now on clearance The x4 should be coming soon
Seems like a pretty good indicator! Hopefully Thule is trying to get this product issue fixed prior to sending out stock to Best Buy and (one would guess) REI...

OK, here are some pics of the Atmos X4 without any screen protector. For those that are curious, it also works very well with the new 2nd Gen iLoome ScreenMate--love that screen protector!

Here's a video of me removing the integrated screen protector from the Thule Atmos X4:

Sorry for hijacking, but my atmos x3 cracked just above lightning port, does anybody know email address of Thule support?

Their twitter account is @Thule--they are quite responsive there...

I think the crack above the lightning port is a known issue...

Thanks!

As Kristin mentioned, known issue.

Case Logic owns Thule. Take a couple of pictures. One showing the damage and other showing back of the case.

Fill out warranty form here: https://cdn1.static-tgdp.com/~/media/images/case logic/about case logic/case-logic-warranty-form.docx

Attach pictures and form to e-mail. Send here: warranty@caselogic.com

They'll send you a replacement. I've used their warranty and Thule backs their products 100%, no questions asked. Hope that helps!
