When did we need a case to protect another case? seems useless IMO
Since we had more money than sense.

Looks like something Apple should have included with the AirPods.

I get tired of digging through my bag to try to find my AirPods charging case. This will work well with the built in rings inside all Tom Bihn bags.
Life is indeed tiring. Here’s to a restful future with less to worry about.

Airpods case shoots airpods like a cannon when it falls down. Had it few times. This thing could be useful for clumsy people, parents, etc.

Here's an idea. Would it be possible to fit some. Kind of micro port to a phone that would output sound and then in order not to lose the Airpods a small cable could tie to them and then plug in to the port? It would solve having to carry a case. A leather case cover A charging unit. And then go to settings and sort out the Bluetooth thingy. Ha. But no That's never gonna catch on. I. mean who would be daft enough to want to cart around a tiny lead instead of a case. A case cover. A charging unit every time they go on holiday. By the way Has anybody seen my Airpods? Oh yeah. I wonder why people are still looking at me in the street as if I've accidentally left some cotton buds in my ears.....Im wearing them! See you around Airpods lovers!

Lol what? Do you have any idea how rare full grain leather is in most consumer products?

On top of that, the finishing looks to be on point. I would have priced this product at $50.

You have no concept of value. It’s two tiny pieces of leather sewn together. $15 product.

I think this just shows people don't understand design, including the designers of THESE products. Apple spends so much time designing beautiful things all to have third party markets cover them in bulky leather, silicone and the worst idea I've ever seen, WOOD! What the hell! WOOD!? Seriously. But I digress. I just don't get these big giant phone cases, iPad cases that double sometimes triple the size of the iPad, and now this little jewel.

It's kind of like buying your wife a beautiful diamond bracelet and as an accessory to the bracelet, a silicone bracelet cover in Hot Pink.

Is there a case I can get to protect this case?

Soon...14WestSouthWest is set to release the AirBuckle, a 3lb, full grain leather case with a titanium buckle that will nestle the AirSnap with AirPods safely protected inside, price at $79. They plan a full on Military grade case soon for the AirBuckle called, the AirFlak priced at $199. It will be military grade bullet proof material encapsulated in a Flak Jacket type bag that has 4 titanium combination latches and a double key titanium lock system that must be turned by two separate keys at the same time to open. So, soon your Airpods can be protected by the AirSnap, tucked inside the AirBuckle and locked within the safety of the AirFlak. In development is the AirShelter, which will be an underground storage bunker to keep your fully loaded AirFlak, offering nuclear level protection. Price is TBD. The world as we know it might be annihilated but rest assured, those Airpods will be safe and sound. Patent Pending, all Rights Reserved.

I can see this good for hiking, to put on your daypack and keep those pockets empty. But no way in hell I would pay that premium.

Dropped mine when I had it in my chest pocket as I exit the vehicle and the AirPod fell out.
End result: Case all scratched up and triggered my OCD symptoms. AirPod luckily no visual damages.
So, glad that you do not drop yours ever. Would greatly appreciate if you can share some tips on how do you not drop it.

I've seen these cases left on buses, trains, conference rooms, at restaurants...those people need something to help keep their charge-in-case headphones usable.

Sure, if you don't pay the workers and treat the animals like $#%£ o_O
