What people fail to realize in all these reviews and all our fighting is that phone size is completely subjective so there is no definitive "better" phone. Yes one may open an app under certain conditions .0001 ms faster but those conditions are not often present in real life situations.

Bottom line, they both are great and both perform similarly, get the size YOU prefer.

Something worth pointing out from The Verge's review is that some apps may require updating before they look nice or even work properly on the 6 Plus's higher resolution display. That may play into some peoples' decision when choosing between the two.

Literally every iPhone 6+ review I watched says that it's too big, making me regret my decision :(

Just use 2 hands when navigating the phone and maybe install Swype for single-handed texting. I have no issues using my 5" S4 and can't imagine 5.5" to be much different.

And there is a chance they failed in their first go around with a phablet making it unwieldy, no one knows until it's in THEIR hands. I did see a few reviewers comment the Note was easier to hold though. The sheer length of this thing will either make it or break it for most. No one gives a rip about 6 rows of icons.

So basically you're saying that he's holding it wrong?

Steve? That you?

I received my leather Apple case for my 6+ yesterday. It feels great in my hands. Then again, my hands are on the larger side (I am 6'3"), but I tend to use two hands anyway as I am used to using the BookBook wallet case (which is very convenient when you want to travel light while working in Manhattan).

It's all about what your uses are. For me, as a commuter, merging the iPhone and iPad Mini (into the 6+) is the perfect answer. If I find that it's too big, I'll simply exchange it for the 6 - which may be better suited for a wallet case. For now, I'll use the Apple leather case and a small and thin wallet card holder.

This is my thinking. I have 6+ pre ordered and right now I carry the 5 and iPad Mini which I use for reading. Having both is cumbersome so if I can merge and only use 6+ then should be a net win

No no no you will love it. Anything thats out of the usual 4.5 range they say is big. Now the Sony that is 6 inch something is big. This 6 plus size is perfect you will love it and wonder how you ever used such a small screen. More real estate is so nice when you are searching the web, reading, texting. I got the Note 3 last year and the size is fantastic. You made the right decision. You will see. :)

I'm sorry if I have made a mistake in reading your comment, but how does your statement (highlighted in bold above) make any sense at all?

Could you please explain to me how Apple has created or will create a new class of phones by entering the pre-existing class of "phablets" which have been around for at least 3 years now?

I've been a macrumors member and lurker for a long time, but never have I seen so many vain/uneducated comments show up in the boards until the date of the Iphone 6 pre-order.

Keep lurking, you will figure it out.

That's because the note 3 has the pen and actual features that help to take advantage of its gigantic screen. Apple's use of landscape mode to utilize the larger screen is very underwhelming.

Hey! A stylus! Yeah...I had one of those with my Handspring Visor 14 years ago.

Reviews are out!

Anyone seen Mashable's review for iOS 8? Which iPhone is used? There are comments asking the same. Some say it's the iPhone 6 while others say it's the iPhone 6 Plus. There is a part in the video where avatars are seen in Messages which means it's the 6 Plus. But then we see a white iPhone in an Apple silicone case and it doesn't look like a 6 Plus at all as it doesn't seem big. Which one is it?

If you saw avatars then it's obviously the plus, Apple explicitly showcased it as an exclusive feature. What a stupid question.

But they use several iPhones in the video. They use a Space Gray and a Silver one.

Why are you mad? Ignore my post if you think it's stupid.

Have you ever used a Note 3 or similar product? No use comparing it to dated technology. Just because it was invented a long time ago doesn't mean the modern iteration is ****. The stylus that ships with Samsung's products are great, and the fluidity of strokes is amazing.

Personally, my money's on Apple adding a stylus to the iPhone line for the next redesign. :apple:
